Jockey ZAC PURTON after winning The Agency Randwick Guineas at Randwick in Australia.

Zac Purton began his apprenticeship in Brisbane where he won the 2003 Jockey Premiership before moving to Sydney with good success.

Purton was twice runner up in the Sydney Jockey Premiership, his first Group 1 win
coming with Excites in the 2006 Sires' Produce Stakes at Randwick.

Zac Purton moved to Hong Kong in 2007 where he has continued to have good success, his first Hong Kong Group 1 coming with Ambitious Dragon in the 2012 Hong Kong Mile.

In 2012, Purton won the Group 1 King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot with Little Bridge before ending Douglas Whyte's 13-season dominance with his first Hong Kong Jockeys' championship in 2013/14.

Also a regular addition to Australian feature carnivals, Purton is one of the most highly regarded jockeys in Australasia with Group 1 wins in six countries
