After beginning his riding career in Victoria, Brenton Avdulla made Sydney his home with great success.
Brenton Avdulla claimed his first Group 1 success aboard the Graeme-Begg-trained Secret Admirer in the 2010 Flight Stakes at Randwick.
Avdulla claimed his first $1 million race in the 2016 Group 1 Crown Oaks at Flemington when leading all the way on Lasqueti Spirit for Lee Curtis at odds of 100/1.
His biggest result was leading all the way on Estijaab in the 2018 Golden Slipper.
Riding over 100 winners in recent seasons, he has also received acclaim by taking up some short stints in Japan on top of that for his Sydney Jockey's Premiership.
