We head out to Cranbourne for their revamped Cup and Meteorite Day.

Looks a good betting card at Cranbourne on Saturday and we should get lovely conditions, which will be key for the best bet on the card, which we'll get to shortly.

In the Cup, I think most people will be jumping off Enxuto which piques my interest. I haven't been with him this preparation but we're getting near on double figures about him here.

He was unlucky in two Flemington 1400m runs and then a touch disappointing last time in the Chester Manifold but the market hammered him there. There weren't may excuses for his fourth placing but he was left in front a long way and I think this sets up very well for him to tag the speed and dash best.

That expected rating last time sticks out, and I marked him a clear second favourite behind Sabaj, who I've no doubt is the horse to beat but will need things to go his way from the wide gate.

I think Enxuto is more a $6.50 chance and worthy of a bet.

In The Meteorite, I'm sticking solid with last year's winner Nadal.

His win, going to 120 at Racing & Sports, is still the single best performance in this field, and I think he can improve out of sight here.

His first up run at 1000m off 301 days was fine when having a lot of improvement to come before striking a very heavy track at Flemington which he didn't handle and wasn't equipped to do so.

The market liked him there and I think we trust that support. He should be ready to go now onto better ground and while drawn to get back, I think he's very backable at $10.

They'll be the feature race plays but I also want to be with the unbeaten Biancelli in the final race over 1000m as I'm surprised she isn't favourite.

She's gone 88-94-97 at RAS which has her well weighted here first up off a strong jump out win. The ones at the top of the weights are very limited and the favourite is Celerity who is more exposed than Biancelli but only rated 93 at her most recent run.

Biancelli tags the good speed here from the soft gate and with any luck at a key stage I think she goes close.
