Saturday, 27 February

Race 1, Gallops, 1160m, Turf, R70.000, 12:10GMT+2

Race Summary: FREEDOM OF CHOICE found some support on debut but was soundly beaten by stable companion Cold Fact. Other inmate Arctic Skyline finished clear of TWICE THE TRIP who was on debut and the the stable could have a strong line. The last mentioned finished just in front of SAVAGE LOVE but should make more improvement.

#1 Freedom Of Choice, #8 Twice The Trip, #6 Savage Love, #4 I Am Royal

Race 2, Gallops, 1160m, Turf, R70.000, 12:40GMT+2

Race Summary: Both KOTINOS (showed good early speed) and SEQUOIA (found problems) were well supported on debut but disappointed. Look for improvement. KUUMA has been placed in all 3 starts but could be looking for further still. Stablemates COMING IN HOT and TINDER DRY are improving with racing and could get into the money. Watch the newcomers.

#9 Sequoia, #4 Kotinos, #5 Kuuma, #1 Coming In Hot

Race 3, Gallops, 1400m, Turf, R70.000, 13:15GMT+2

Race Summary: ROYAL WULFF has been in the money in all 6 starts, however, he has been rested and gelded since then. If anywhere near his best should be right there, but jockey arrangements appear confusing. FLYING BULL enjoyed the extra in his 2nd start and looks the lively danger. BOLD DECISION disappointed on debut but will come on over the longer trip. SUCCESSFUL RULER ran below form in his 2nd start but should improve and warrants respect.

#1 Royal Wulff, #5 Flying Bull, #7 Successful Ruler, #10 Bold Decision

Race 4, Gallops, 1000m, Turf, R100.000, 13:50GMT+2

Race Summary: NAARAH is unbeaten and looking to add the Ruffian Stakes to complete a hat-trick. She holds BELLA CHICA and HEAVENS GIRL on strict form and rates the one to beat. UNDER YOUR SPELL outpaced her field on debut and could go on. SUPREME QUEST has a powerful finishing burst but meets a lot stronger and may not get up.

#1 Naarah, #3 Heavens Girl, #5 Under Your Spell, #2 Bella Chica

Race 5, Gallops, 1000m, Turf, R100.000, 14:25GMT+2

Race Summary: Difficult to assess the Storm Bird Stakes. CAPTAIN'S RUN was narrowly beaten on debut by previous race likely favourite Naarah but won her next start with a bit in hand. SOCIAL IMAGE showed marked improvement in her 2nd start completely outpacing her field. ARCTIC SKYLINE should run another honest race. Debutante SHEELA could be anything - watch. The 2 remaining runners are males and give the opposite sex 2.5kg - HOPE IS POWER, who won easily on debut, and ROLLWITHTHEPUNCHES, who appears held.

#4 Captain's Run, #5 Social Image, #3 Arctic Skyline, #6 Sheela

Race 6, Gallops, 1000m, Turf, R100.000, 15:00GMT+2

Race Summary: Competitive Bauhinia Stakes. TROPIC SUN needed her last sprint and played up at the start. Look for a big run. ANNA CAPRI was a gallant winner last time when, after a bad start, she beat RAPID FIRE by 0.75 lengths. However, she is 7.5 kg worse off and it could get close. The latter's stablemate, SWEET FUTURE, is looking for 4 straight wins so cannot be ignored. RISK TAKER, LINEAR, MULETA and THUMBS UP could have a say.

#6 Tropic Sun, #2 Anna Capri, #7 Rapid Fire, #8 Sweet Future

Race 7, Gallops, 1600m, Turf, R125.000, 15:40GMT+2

Race Summary: The Acacia Handicap is wide open. SEEHAAM is in top form and off 52kg will make them work for victory. Both WISTERIA WALK and RIO'S WINTER are in top form but both could be found wanting with bigger weights. MOUNT LAUREL has ability but also a hefty weight. LILY BLUE is versatile but may not grab them in time. Others are looking for minor money.

#13 Seehaam, #5 Wisteria Walk, #4 Rio's Winter, #2 Mount Laurel

Race 8, Gallops, 1600m, Turf, R77.500, 16:15GMT+2

Race Summary: LA LUVIA is back on home turf and if not affected by the travelling could show true colours. IVALO'S PRINCE sports blinkers now and if no adverse affect could go in. ELIUD is a lot better than his last run and could feature. JAMAHEERY needed her last outing and the longer distance should be to her liking. HERODOTUS ran well in his first run in new surroundings and could earn. FRED won well after a rest and could go in again.

#8 La Luvia, #5 Ivalo's Prince, #1 Eliud, #7 Jamaheery

Race 9, Gallops, 1400m, Turf, R70.000, 16:50GMT+2

Race Summary: ROSAPRIMA has been knocking. She could get her just reward and open her account. DANCING ARABIAN won't go down without a fight. GAL GADOT was not striding out last time and could get into the reckoning. Include BEDOUIN BRIDE, UNDERTHERADAR, newcomer LAST SONG and MEENEERA into the Quartets.

#1 Rosaprima, #2 Dancing Arabian, #3 Gal Gadot, #5 Undertheradar

Best Win: #1 NAARAH
Best Value Bet: #8 LA LUVIA
Best Longshot: #8 LA LUVIA

Race 1, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R150.000, 13:00GMT+2

Race Summary: Smashing card and an intriguing 2yo feature to start. AMBIORIX justified betting support when making a winning debut over 1000m. He would have come on appreciably for that experience so with natural improvement could defy the weight turnaround and remain unbeaten. BARZALONA  has 2.50 lengths to find on him but is 3kg better off and should pose more of a threat. SHELDON wasn't far off that pair, despite legitimate excuses, on his local introduction and could make his presence felt. COSMIC HIGHWAY impressed after a slow start on debut and should improve over this trip with that experience. DANILO DANILOVITCH has the form and experience to feature too.

#1 Ambiorix, #2 Barzalona, #3 Cosmic Highway, #4 Danilo Danilovitch

Race 2, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R125.000, 13:35GMT+2

Race Summary: The 2nd of the 2yo Grade 3 features is an intriguing contest dominated by the Snaith yard. GIMME DAT impressed on debut after a slow start and with natural improvement likely, should have more to offer over this trip. Richard Fourie, however, gets off (switches with Grant van Niekerk) to partner WINTER MOSAIC which suggests she, also a last-start winner, could be the stable elect. Fellow Snaith inmate SUPER SIRI confirmed the promise of her debut 2nd against the boys by winning next time and should be competitive over this trip. LIVE MY LIFE will come on after a pleasing debut 3rd (when attracting market support) so could also have a say.

#6 Winter Mosaic, #1 Gimme Dat, #5 Super Siri, #3 Live My Life

Race 3, Gallops, 3200m, Turf, R110.000, 14:10GMT+2

Race Summary: Tricky staying contest despite the small field. STRATHDON and TROOP THE COLOUR are the only runners with proven form over this distance and their stamina should stand them in good stead, although a slight preference on these terms is for the latter. BAYBERRY appears the pick of the Snaith runners on riding arrangements. He had useful staying form over shorter trips prior to a break and could have more to offer trying the extra. Stablemate SILVER SKY takes a big jump in class and distance but is relatively unexposed and still maturing, so could make presence felt.

#4 Troop The Colour, #1 Strathdon, #2 Bayberry, #5 Silver Sky

Race 4, Gallops, 1600m, Turf, R110.000, 14:45GMT+2

Race Summary: Wide-open Listed race. SING OUT LOUD acquitted herself well in consecutive Grade 1 races and need only reproduce the latest of those (this track and trip) to get back to winning ways. On their meeting in the 1800m Peninsula Handicap, when finishing ahead of that rival, last-start winners CAPTAIN FLINDERS and LOVE HAPPENS also make the shortlist. However, Richard Fourie gets off the latter to partner stablemate AFRICAN NIGHT SKY (drops in class). Best-weighted DOUBLEMINT caught the eye with fast-finishing 2nd over 1400m last time and could go one better stepped up to this distance racing off the same mark. VIKRAM impressed under a big weight last time and should be competitive. AZORES, CAPOEIRA and SNOW REPORT aren't without a chance. Go wide in Pick 6!

#2 Doublemint, #6 Love Happens, #9 Sing Out Loud, #5 Vikram

Race 5, Gallops, 1400m, Turf, R150.000, 15:20GMT+2

Race Summary: Hard to oppose top-weight CLOUDS UNFOLD (course-and-distance winner) after consecutive runner-up finishes at Grade 1 level over 1600m and 1800m. PRETTY YOUNG THING and ICON PRINCESS are held by that rival on the form of their Majorca Stakes and Diana Stakes meetings. SLEEPING SINGLE is weighted to run well but poorly drawn and probably better over further. Maturing CAPITANA has a bit to find on these terms but has more scope than most and from an inside gate could improve to stake a claim. Progressive 3yo fillies ZARINA, CAYA COCO, LEMON DELIGHT, LA QUINTA and MALEDIMO are all distance suited and could give the selection the most to fear.

#1 Clouds Unfold, #14 Maledimo, #13 La Quinta, #10 Zarina

Race 6, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R200.000, 15:55GMT+2

Race Summary: Cracking sprint contest. RIO QUERARI has proven his class in recent sprints over 1000m (latest at Grade 1 level) and holds most of these rivals on that form, so is the runner to beat. KASIMIR is probably better over this trip now and will pose a threat to his stablemate on these terms - big runner. RUSSET AIR and BOLD RESPECT retain ability and are capable of making their presence felt. HELLO WINTER HELLO and CARTEL CAPTAIN come next.

#3 Rio Querari, #2 Kasimir, #1 Russet Air, #8 Hello Winter Hello

Race 7, Gallops, 2000m, Turf, R750.000, 16:30GMT+2

Race Summary: Stellar cast assembled for the prestigious Grade 1 Cape Derby. 'Talking-horse' KOMMETDIEDING has handled everything thrown at him with aplomb and with another step forward could remain unbeaten. LEGITIMATE, RASCALLION and HOEDSPRUIT are all held on these terms by that rival on the form of their meeting in the 1800m Politician Stakes. Guineas winner RUSSIAN ROCK will pose a threat with improvement expected over this trip. LINEBACKER has solid form credentials and wouldn't be winning out of turn after 4 consecutive 2nds but may be vulnerable over the extra. THE GATEKEEPER has no such issues and is likely to improve for the step up to this distance. Great race!

#1 Kommetdieding, #2 Russian Rock, #5 The Gatekeeper, #4 Rascallion

Race 8, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R550.000, 17:05GMT+2

Race Summary: EDGARTOWN is the only one of these to have won, so is best treated by the conditions (winner without a penalty) and should be competitive with any amount of improvement likely. ROD THE MOD has the form and experience to challenge for honours. Fillies HOMELY GIRL and MOUNIA will be better for pleasing introductions and should improve, so could pose a threat in receipt of weight. SKY GOD, TOUT A FAIT and WIND SOCK will all be wiser to the task too and with natural improvement could have a say in the outcome. CHOLLIMA, GREEK MYTH and MASTER OF TIME fit a similar profile and must also be respected. Wide open!

#2 Edgartown, #5 Rod The Mod, #10 Homely Girl, #13 Mounia

Race 9, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R160.000, 17:40GMT+2

Race Summary: Work riders versus jockeys race. The draw has seemingly been kinder to the former. PRETTY BETTY and QUEEN NIYABAH make most appeal on recent form and are likely to play leading roles. PAPER TRAIL appears the leading light among the jockeys, with Greg Cheyne drawn to ride, and he wouldn't be winning out of turn after 2 narrow misses. WORDSWORTH and recently gelded T'CHALLA are also capable of staking their professionals. Great day's racing!

#14 Pretty Betty, #12 Queen Niyabah, #8 Paper Trail, #2 Wordsworth

Best Win: #1 CLOUDS UNFOLD
Best Value Bet:
Best Longshot: #4 TROOP THE COLOUR

Sunday, 28 February

Race 1, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R70.000, 12:25GMT+2

Race Summary: CRESTED EAGLE ran two good seconds before disappointing as favourite last time but that looked to have been a stronger field. However, SILVERY BLUE finished ahead of him in just his second start and should confirm. But she was a difficult ride as she hung inwards in that and will need to improve a bit on that to win. LORD VARYS was all at sea in his first racecourse visit and made progress at the end of that race. RAINBOW SPIRIT needed his debut experience and a tongue tie has been fitted so can also improve. First-timers in the race - follow the betting closely.

#3 Silvery Blue, #9 Crested Eagle, #7 Rainbow Spirit, #5 Lord Varys

Race 2, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R70.000, 13:00GMT+2

Race Summary: Not a race with strong form and first-timers need not be special to dominate. However, RAISE THE STANDARD had a lot to do on debut at Greyville and made progress. He could enjoy this track and trip. TRUMPET VOLUNTARY disappointed last time, he found only one better in two previous races and deserves another chance. CRUSADE'S STAR, BELIEVE ACHIEVE and CAULDRON have all shown some potential and may finish closer in this field. Trainer comments suggest AFTER THE RAIN and QUEST FOR THE BEST could prove dangerous on debut. Again follow the betting action.

#10 Trumpet Voluntary, #14 Raise The Standard, #13 Quest For The Best, #8 After The Rain

Race 3, Gallops, 1750m, Turf, R70.000, 13:35GMT+2

Race Summary: COROMANDEL had a tough task on local debut having to overcome a wide draw over 1400m at this venue. He ran a very creditable race and now from a better draw over further, which should suit on pedigree, should go close. KOMODOSAN was costly to follow after an eye-catching, much improved second start. He had valid excuses and if back on track could prove dangerous. THE GAUL had a much better draw when finishing ahead of COROMANDEL but he is entitled to improve as that run was his first after a break. A well-bred sort he may be ready to find more over further. SONJADOR was unlucky to lose last time. He was making his track debut and ran his best race to date. More with earning capacity.

#7 Coromandel, #2 Komodosan, #5 The Gaul, #4 Sonjador

Race 4, Gallops, 1750m, Turf, R70.000, 14:10GMT+2

Race Summary: SPRING FLING made big improvement with the blinkers removed. He finally showed his true ability and could be on the up. KAPEN PRIDE needed his last run and may thoroughly enjoy a big drop in class. He has yet to win at Scottsville but has the best of the draws and must be taken seriously. COUNT MARSH followed up his maiden win with a good 3rd in a strong race. He has run well on the turf as well. Another danger is FIGHT SONG who came from too far back last. He will be at a peak in his third run after rest but has a wide draw to overcome. More useful contenders in this.

#6 Spring Fling, #1 Kapen Pride, #4 Count Marsh, #14 Fight Song

Race 5, Gallops, 2400m, Turf, R70.000, 14:45GMT+2

Race Summary: TWICE GOLDEN returns to his best course and distance after a rest and riding arrangements suggests he is ready to go. He has been running in stronger and should enjoy this division but needs a good pace. RUN TO DENMARK is a strong frontrunner but he may run the race to suit himself. He is ultra-consistent but has been racing on the Polytrack and will need to convince on the turf. THE APPEAL was eye catching last time and while he too has been running on the poly, his only win was on the turf and it was an easy one. TWICE GOLDEN's two stablemates JACK OF HEARTS and SAINT PHILIP have the potential to upset. MRS HOTLINE ran well on her track debut - consider.

#5 Twice Golden, #7 The Appeal, #6 Run To Denmark, #8 Saint Philip

Race 6, Gallops, 1000m, Turf, R70.000, 15:20GMT+2

Race Summary: KINGS ROAD looks the form choice. He is holding form and was just beaten in a stronger race last time. Both IMPARTIAL and STORM CHASER have shown promise. The former needed his last run and he's one from one over this course and distance. STORM CHASER impressed on the poly but is bred for this. PRINCEKRESH is getting better with each start but it could get close with PACIFIC WINTER, BLAZE OF SILK and VALIENTE on collateral form. Most have claims.

#7 Kings Road, #2 Impartial, #1 Storm Chaser, #3 Princekresh

Race 7, Gallops, 1950m, Turf, R70.000, 15:55GMT+2

Race Summary: BOHEMIAN LAD won with something in hand and on pedigree should enjoy this distance. But he beat a weak field and this will be a lot tougher. ALADO'S PRIDE wasn't disgraced in his track debut and can only improve. But he needs to behave and has his work cut out with DOUBLE GEMINI on their previous meeting. DOUBLE GEMINI won in convincing style and could follow up after a rest if in the same mood. LORD OF THE MANOR has the best of the draws after having one of the worst, he can only improve and has run well at this venue. FEVER has been going close on the poly and could confirm on the turf as he has matured. CHEROKEE CHIEF can upset on best form.

#2 Bohemian Lad, #7 Alado's Pride, #9 Double Gemini, #1 Lord Of The Manor

Race 8, Gallops, 1950m, Turf, R70.000, 16:30GMT+2

Race Summary: Wide open race. A WHOLE NEW WORLD is getting better with each start and runs as if he will enjoy this course and distance. H TWO O is getting stronger and can follow up on his maiden win, if not affected by the drop in distance. BHAKKA and FINAL OCCASION renew rivalry but also drop in distance and have their work cut out. Could get close. KING'S COVE keeps on winning at big prices, he has a powerful finish - watch out. POLICY TARGET is the dark horse. He was costly to follow until his last, but will not have as much pressure on him today. MAMBO SYMPHONY and COOL APACHE have outside chances.

#7 A Whole New World, #1 H Two O, #9 Bhakka, #13 Final Occasion

Race 9, Gallops, 1400m, Turf, R70.000, 17:00GMT+2

Race Summary: SHE'S A KEEPER has more to come. She has shown promise in both starts and on pedigree is looking for the longer trip. She rates the form choice but Scottsville is never an easy track to navigate, especially from a wide draw. After her it is wide open. CLASS OF EIGHT is a dangerous frontrunner and can get away, especially as she as drawn well. She has won over this course and distance. ARCTIC PRINCESS is holding form well on the poly and if she makes a successful switch to turf could be dangerous. MORE THAN A DIME has run on well at this venue and has dropped in the ratings. VOICE OF REASON can pop up in this class.

#10 She's A Keeper, #2 Class Of Eight, #7 Arctic Princess, #11 More Than A Dime

Best Win: #10 SHE'S A KEEPER
Best Value Bet: #6 SPRING FLING
Best Longshot: #6 SPRING FLING

Monday, 1 March

Race 1, Gallops, 1100m, Poly, R60.000, 12:55GMT+2

Race Summary: LIFE GOES ON showed inexperience when a good second at this course last week. If he travels better this time he can win. However, he has drawn a bit wide again. ZUBERI was not far behind him when making good improvement but goes from a great draw to a wide one. LORD CARO's first win is long overdue. He has a plum draw and could finally make amends. ALMA MATER has the best of the draws but has been kept off the Polytrack until now. Hard to know if he will take to the synthetic. KING CYRUS has been disappointing but along with SEVENTH SONG, has shown enough to win.

#8 Life Goes On, #9 Zuberi, #2 Lord Caro, #4 King Cyrus

Race 2, Gallops, 1100m, Poly, R60.000, 13:30GMT+2

Race Summary: Nothing stands out on form and many can improve. SPIRIT OF DACHA and SUPER LEILA weren't disgraced on debut and could improve with the experience, especially on the poly. Take note of any betting moves. EVERGLOW showed pace at Scottsville last time and has had a couple of promising runs in the Western Cape and she could improve on the Polytrack. GIMETHEPURPLELIGHT disappointed at Scottsville last time but improved at this venue before that and has a plum draw. She could make amends. Well-bred INTOMBI is drawn well and could show having matured. AIRBUZZ and CAPULET'S HEART have chances.

#8 Spirit Of Dacha, #10 Super Leila, #5 Everglow, #2 Gimethepurplelight

Race 3, Gallops, 1000m, Poly, R60.000, 14:05GMT+2

Race Summary: DIAMONDS 'N DUST found her best form on the Highveld and is ready to win again. Interestingly, she is tried on the poly and has secured the best of the barriers but has to give weight to most and some are battle-hardened male Polytrack specialists. MEXICAN CATDANCE followed up his maiden win on the poly with a good run at Scottsville. He could follow up on his penultimate start win as he hasn't drawn badly. LESLIE SHADOWLINER wasn't far behind him at Scottsville and has drawn better so looks a lively threat. ROCKET FIRE had things go wrong in that race and was a convincing winner in a previous run at this course. CHARLIE-FOX must have a say. Tough race.

#1 Diamonds 'N Dust, #4 Mexican Catdance, #2 Leslie Shadowliner, #5 Charlie-Fox

Race 4, Gallops, 1700m, Poly, R60.000, 14:40GMT+2

Race Summary: GOOD GIRL runs like the longer trip will suit and her pedigree suggests this is what she is looking for. She is a four-year-old and perhaps doesn't have much scope for improvement but the removal of blinkers could help her cause. RAIN WEAR was a big improver last time and may have figured out what it is all about now. She will need to bring that form to the poly, however, and has finished behind GOOD GIRL previously so has her work cut out. DANCING SWORD is holding form and has gone close on the poly before so don't discount her. TWO FOR TEA, POLYNIECES and LADYOFMYLIFE can show more.

#3 Good Girl, #5 Rain Wear, #4 Dancing Sword, #1 Two For Tea

Race 5, Gallops, 1600m, Poly, R60.000, 15:15GMT+2

Race Summary: KAYC AL had shown decent work in the Western Cape but it was only since racing on the poly that she managed to win. She could follow up, especially from No 1 draw. TUPELO HONEY is knocking at the door and will be super fit. She will test KAYC AL and also has the form to win more races. WAVE CREST didn't give in when having to fend off a resolute frontrunner after moving up to catch her. She is improving with each race and could get into another fight. YOU DESERVE IT is a bit better than her latest form upcountry. She could relish the poly. TOMBOLA, FIRE FAERIE and MAID IN FRANCE can earn.

#1 Kayc Al, #6 Tupelo Honey, #3 Wave Crest, #2 You Deserve It

Race 6, Gallops, 2000m, Poly, R60.000, 15:50GMT+2

Race Summary: Not an easy race to decipher. MISSION BEACH improved recently and could be getting better as she matures. INGAKARA found one better in well-supported COZY DOT COM who has a draw advantage this time but who may not reproduce the same form as she had dull form prior. INGAKARA travels well in her races and may prove hard to catch. BELL JAR has been costly to follow in the past but popped up with a good run last time. If repeating, she could finally add a poly win to her record. GOLDEN DUCK has been convincing and is better than her form suggests. Having won her maiden she can go on to further success in this league.

#4 Mission Beach, #8 Ingakara, #7 Bell Jar, #11 Golden Duck

Race 7, Gallops, 1400m, Poly, R60.000, 16:25GMT+2

Race Summary: TWO OF US ran a fair race from a bad draw at Scottsville last time. This looks a better distance for him and he has shown decent form on the poly so can score his overdue second win. WHAT A BLAST has dropped to quite a low merit rating and can return to winning ways. He has drawn well, has won over this trip and can boast a strong finish. ALPHAMIKEFOXTROT will make them all run hard as he is a poly specialist and last time ran a decent race on the turf at Scottsville. He should relish being back on the synthetic. NORLAND is an interesting runner. This horse has raced in stronger company upcountry and may enjoy the poly.

#3 Two Of Us, #6 What A Blast, #5 Alphamikefoxtrot, #9 Norland

Race 8, Gallops, 1400m, Poly, R60.000, 17:00GMT+2

Race Summary: The real WHAT A RYDER showed up last time with a decent third-place finish. The fitting of blinkers seemed to do the trick but a big worry is that his best runs have been on the turf. Still he must rate a big chance in this field. STRAIGHT SIX is knocking at the door and did finish well ahead of WHAT A RYDER when the latter admittedly (sans blinkers) showed no interest. He has a tough draw to overcome but has the gate speed to go early and could keep going. MONTANA SKY is overdue and would be deserving as he has run well on turf and poly and over different trips. CIRO ran a decent race after a rest and is well drawn. He represents value. More with improvement to come.

#11 Straight Six, #6 What A Ryder, #8 Montana Sky, #3 Ciro

Best Win: #1 KAYC AL
Best Value Bet: #3 TWO OF US
Best Longshot: #3 TWO OF US

Tuesday, 2 March

Race 1, Gallops, 1000m, Turf, R70.000, 12:35GMT+2

Race Summary: RAISETHEREDLANTERN has been runner-up in all 3 starts and deserves a victory. ACE OF SPADES should get into the reckoning while stable companion LOVE LIES forms a strong back-up if not needing it. JUST AS RICH could make the frame. WISDEN found support on debut but disappointed.

#1 Raisetheredlantern, #4 Ace Of Spades, #2 Love Lies, #3 Just As Rich

Race 2, Gallops, 1000m, Turf, R70.000, 13:05GMT+2

Race Summary: MAGIC CHOICE improved heaps sporting blinkers and should hold COUNTRY MILE. However, the latter needed the run and will come on. DALGETY BAY should be cherry-ripe and could be involved in the finish. SKY KINGDOM has her blinkers back on and should do better. CAPE DIAMOND, SMELTING and ZULU WAR CRY could get into the Quartets.

#9 Magic Choice, #1 Country Mile, #2 Dalgety Bay, #5 Sky Kingdom

Race 3, Gallops, 1800m, Turf, R85.000, 13:35GMT+2

Race Summary: BALLET SHOES has not been out the money and should keep that record intact. JET START runs for Philasande Mxoli and the combo is looking to make it 3 from 3. Stable companion DESTINYS GAME is holding form but races before this. Watch the form. SHIVERS is another running well and should make her presence felt. ROUGE ALLURE, IRISH WONDER GIRL and SUNSHINE SILK could place.

#2 Ballet Shoes, #6 Destinys Game, #1 Jet Start, #3 Shivers

Race 4, Gallops, 1600m, Turf, R70.000, 14:05GMT+2

Race Summary: DIAMONDS N DOLLARS should relish the extra and rates the one to beat. JUST JUDY wasn't disgraced on debut and will be better suited to this distance. DANCEABOUTTHESUN found no support on debut and was well beaten by impressive Say When. She too will love the longer trip. RIVETING is held on form but could find a place.

#9 Diamonds N Dollars, #10 Just Judy, #8 Danceaboutthesun, #5 Riveting

Race 5, Gallops, 1600m, Turf, R70.000, 14:40GMT+2

Race Summary: MCEBISI finished ahead of RICCARDO last time but the latter went wide around the turn and could turn it around. ESKIMO PIE is held by the latter on their meeting in January. FAST DRAW has been running below form recently but with blinkers now on could get back on track. SERGEI should enjoy the extra and JACKHAMMER can do better.

#1 Riccardo, #3 Eskimo Pie, #2 Mcebisi, #5 Fast Draw

Race 6, Gallops, 1600m, Turf, R70.000, 15:15GMT+2

Race Summary: Difficult to assess as most runners are capable but have erratic form presently. WAQAAS is the most honest in the race and a must for inclusion in exotics. ENRIQUE, RIVER JORDAN, ANCIENT ROME (now gelded) and FSQUADRON could easily win if they find best form. ROMEO'S MAGIC and stablemate FRED (races before this) could feature. More could pop up.

#5 Waqaas, #2 Enrique, #8 Fred, #6 Romeo's Magic

Race 7, Gallops, 1450m, Turf, R77.500, 15:50GMT+2

Race Summary: WAY OF THE WORLD has the best credentials and what beats her should win. However, finding the biggest threat looks difficult. LITTLE RAIN comes off a rest after chalking up a deserved 2nd victory and receives 5.5kg from the former. KAYLA'S CHAMP, ULULATE, FLAMING DUCHESS and NOW YOU SEE ME are others to consider.

#2 Way Of The World, #7 Little Rain, #4 Ululate, #1 Kayla's Champ

Race 8, Gallops, 1450m, Turf, R70.000, 16:25GMT+2

Race Summary: SAY WHEN impressed when opening her account over this distance and looks to have a lot more to offer. CAPITIANA tries the longer trip now and won't go down without a fight. Stablemate FANTASY FLOWER could take home a cheque. ME TIME is running better since sporting blinkers and shouldn't be far off. Stable companion LOUVAIN enjoys this track and could get into the mix.
