Busan Race 1: Class 6 (5f) Special Weight A / $32,000

Juvenile maiden fillies with all but three racing for the first time. (6) GOLDEN EMPIRE looked very accomplished in her trial, settling back before running on very pleasingly to cross the line on top in a quick time. If she brings that form to the races, she will be hard to beat. (1) YURIM CHANGA led for much of her heat, ultimately crossing the line a close 3rd in a decent time. From the inside gate and with a good start, she can be in things a long way on debut. (9) I'M THE ONE and (3) WORLD EAGLE CAT have raced before, debuting together on August 22nd. They ran 3rd and 5th respectively and should have come on for the experience. (4) HIGH BEAUTY is another first timer who looked to have ability in trials.

Selections   (6) Golden Empire (1) Yurim Changa (9) I'm The One (3) World Eagle Cat
Next Best   4, 7
Fast Start   1, 2, 4, 7

Busan Race 2: Class 6 (6f) Special Weight A / $22,000

After an ordinary debut, (7) HEUIMANG DANBI was a much-improved 2nd at start number two in a quick race over this distance on Augus 10th having raced handy throughout. Third-up she can be peaking, and she can go one better today. Also third-up is (3) STRAWBERRY QUEEN. After running 2nd on debut, she was away awkwardly at start two in the Rookie Stakes on August 17th, ultimately finishing 6th behind Wild Park. With a better start and from a good gate, she can be a danger here. (1) DOLPHIN KICK is a little more experienced and with two 4th places and a 3rd from her latest three, she seems to be figuring things out. Solitary debut maker (10) AIR CITY, along with (9) WORLD TREE are others who can play a role.

Selections   (7) Heuimang Danbi (3) Strawberry Queen (1) Dolphin Kick (10) Air City
Next Best   9, 6
Fast Start   7, 9, 10,11

Busan Race 3: Class 5 (6f) Handicap / $32,000

(4) KKEUTPAN YEOGEOL is yet to win in nine attempts but has been steadily getting closer with two runner-up finishes from her latest two outings, both at this class and distance. She likes to race on pace and is drawn very well to do so, and today she should be going one better. (2) JJAK SARANG enters off her maiden win which came at this class and distance on August 22nd when leading all the way and beating three of today's rivals. She comes up 2kg in weight but is nicely drawn to be on pace again and she could repeat. (6) DOCTOR MATTERS was a close 2nd to Jjak Sarang in that August 22nd race in what was a return to form after a couple of ordinary efforts. Seo Seung-un climbs on for the first time and she will have plenty of backers to overturn that form. (1) OASIS WICKY and (7) CHOEGANG TA BON are other place chances.

Selections   (4) Kkeutpan Yeogeol (2) Jjak Sarang (6) Doctor Matters (1) Oasis Wicky
Next Best   7, 8
Fast Start   2, 3, 4, 7

Busan Race 4: Class 4 (7f) Handicap / $43,000

In five total starts, (5) NICE BUDDY is yet to finish outside of the top three and enters off a win over 6 1/2f on August 24th when he was on pace all the way. That brings him up in class, as well as slightly up in trip, and while he doesn't get a weight drop, he can measure up. (3) NAEPYEON hasn't won for a long time, but he comes in here with recent form reading very well with three consecutive 2nd places form his latest three, all at this class and distance. Franco gets on for the first time and from a good gate, they could go one better. (10) BEOLGYO WANGCHO will need a line drawn through his latest couple including a go at class 3 last time. He is a class and distance winner though and brand-new apprentice Nam Jeong-hyeok has a chance here. (11) FANTASTIC BLUE and (6) UNJU CHALLENGE are others to consider.

Selections   (5) Nice Buddy (3) Naepyeon (10) Beolgyo Wangcho (11) Fantastic Blue
Next Best   6, 8
Fast Start   5, 7, 9, 10

Busan Race 5: Class 5 (7f) Handicap / $32,000

(7) POWER STONE came from off the pace to score his maiden win at start number three over 6 1/2f on August 17th. He is up in class here, but the win had been coming and while he was beaten by a couple of today's rivals in his first two starts, the slight step up in trip can suit, and he can win again. (3) DOCTOR LOUIS and (11) HEUIMANG TAYO came home 1st and 2nd when they raced each other at this class and distance on August 24th. The latter was favourite that day and both should be firmly in the mix again here. (4) SUCCESS POWER beat Power Stone when scoring his maiden win in July and subsequently won again at this class over 6 1/2f on August 15th. He is up 3kg on that, but a hat-trick isn't impossible. (2) WONDERFUL TEAM among plenty of other placing chances.

Selections   (7) Power Stone (3) Doctor Louis (11) Heuimang Tayo (4) Success Power
Next Best   2, 6
Fast Start   1, 8, 9, 11

Busan Race 6: Class 4 (7f) Handicap / $43,000

(9) ROAD TO PARTY is a winner of two of his latest three, most recently at this class over 6f on August 15th when handy throughout. He comes up to 7f for the first time and is up in weight, but the manner of that latest success suggests that there can be more to come. (4) ECHO CHAMP is rapidly up in class, having won two of his first three, racing on pace each time. His is up in trip too but is down in weight, is nicely drawn, and he can measure up. (1) HANEUL BOSS led on his first try at this class over a mile on August 24th, ultimately finishing 6th of eleven. He comes back to a trip that he is one for one over and can be given another chance today. (2) SEOBU CAPTAIN and (11) DONGNAM GANGTAJA are others in the mix.

Selections   (9) Road To Party (4) Echo Champ (1) Haneul Boss (2) Seobu Captain
Next Best   11, 3
Fast Start   1, 3, 9, 11

Busan Race 7: Class 3 (1 1/8M) Handicap / $54,000

(1) BEOLMAUI ACE is ultra consistent and while his last win was a full ten starts back, he has finished no worse than 4th since. He has a 2nd, 3rd and a 4th from three tries at this distance, most recently beating a couple of today's rivals on August 1st and under the same weight, today can be his day. (11) CATCH THE DREAM has won his latest two, both at this distance and most recently at this class on August 9th when leading all the way. He is up 3kg in weight today and he has the challenge of the widest gate, but if he can find a good position early, he can complete his hat-trick. (2) GREAT BOY is up in class following a 2nd and a 3rd from his latest two, both at this distance. He is down a full 5.5kg in weight and that should see hm competitive in this company. (6) UNJU WINNER and (5) TROPHY WARE, both last start winner, are others in the hunt.

Selections   (1) Beolmaui Ace (11) Catch The Dream (2) Great Boy (6) Unju Winner
Next Best   5, 4
Fast Start   6, 7, 9, 11

Busan Race 8: Class 2 (1M) Handicap / $65,000

(4) SMART BOSS found 1 1/4M a bit too much too soon two starts back but he dropped back to a mile on June 22nd and ran a fair 3rd at this class in a very quick race. Thirteen weeks out can have done him some good and he can return to winning ways here. He will need to overturn the form on (5) LAST DRAGON, who won that June race. He has since run twice at further distances, finishing 3rd and 7th. The latter was at 1 1/4M, and he too should be happier dropping back in trip today. (8) GEUMA DISTINCTION has placed in seven out of eight tries at this distance, including last time out on August 10th when he was 2nd having led for most of the way. He can be in this a long way too. (3) CATALINA MARINE and (1) FANTASTIC WOMAN among plenty of other chances.

Selections   (4) Smart Boss (5) Last Dragon (8) Geuma Distinction (3) Cataline Marine
Next Best   1, 11
Fast Start   2, 4, 8, 10
