We've found a horse to follow from Morphettville Parks on Saturday.

Race 8 – Cartoon Graveyard (2nd)

The punters didn't quite land a blow with the well-backed Will Clarken galloper on Saturday but I've got little doubt if they continue to front up for him this spring, Cartoon Graveyard will reward them.

The ex-Tasmanian horse jumped well and settled midfield with cover in a race that was run in solid overall time. Todd Pannell had to chase the leaders early and he ran a sharp 11.06 split between the 600m and the 400m. He sustained a strong gallop to the line and, while he couldn't quite reel in the winner Easy Campese, his closing effort to finish only half a length away in second was very good.

He's performed out to 1600m in Tasmania and I'd imagine that's where he can win a race here in SA. The Listed Murray Bridge Gold Cup, in which he will likely receive close to the minimum 54kg, could be an option.

Whether it's in Stakes company or something slightly easier, I feel there is an upcoming win in Cartoon Graveyard.
