CANTERBURY: RACE 2 @ 7:30 PM
SNITZEL MISS (10) settled a fair way off the pace before lengthening nicely in the run home to finish fourth when resuming over 1200m at Rosehill last start. Should travel a bit closer this time from a better gate. Placed in the Group 2 Sweet Embrace second-up last prep which is gilt-edged form for a midweek maiden. OUR HUNTRESS (8) was popular with punters but was edged out on debut over 1200m at Kembla 24 days ago. Clark should have her up near the speed and another bold run is anticipated. JAEGERS (5) led and battled on well for second (Snitzel Miss fourth) at Rosehill recently. Very fast filly who can neutralise the wide draw. Blinkers going on an interesting move - she probably looks the winner at some stage. LAMBERTINA (6) gets a pass-mark for her debut effort at Gosford. Likely improver. KONSA (1) debuts for Waller. A son of Ocean Park who trialled well recently at Warwick Farm. Drawing the fence is a big help.
SELECTIONS: Snitzel Miss to win.

MUSWELLBROOK: RACE 3 @ 2:25 PM
LAIZABOUT (1) racing well this campaign and a win looks imminent. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages and failed to see the mile out when seventh over 1600m at Scone. Finds a much easier assignment on his home track. No excuses today. ROTHO BRO (3) is ready to peak after getting out late for an eye-catching fifth over 1400m at Gundagai. Will go back from the draw and charge late. WILD FLASH (6) sharp rise in trip and laid out throughout when a poor ninth over 1600m at Scone. Key jockey change and gets another chance over this trip. STEEL CLAWS (8) returned in good order with a fast-finishing victory over 1200m at Quirindi. Proven at the track and will appreciate the extra ground.
SELECTIONS: Laizabout can return to form quickly.
QUEANBEYAN: RACE 7 @ 4:40 PM
Matt Dale-trained ADOLPHUS (6) led winning a Highway at Rosehill over 1500m and then tackled a 78 there and pulled up with an issue. He's back after 20 days suggesting all is well and the in-form Boudvillain is booked. Beautifully placed and will be hard to beat. DYNAMIC ONE (8) ran a cracking race, winning a 66 at Gundagai over 1800m. Comes back to the mile but expect him to hold the form, and he tumbles in weight. Will hit the line hard. Stablemate MATHRIN (5) surprised the market when winning a 70 at Canberra and had to do it the hard way. That stacks up, and JVO replaces the apprentice. Worth following up, as well. VERMICELLA (12) is a local who's sure to be primed from this contest. Newitt's booking is a lead, and she's won 2/2 third-up. The blinkers go on for the first time.
SELECTIONS: Adolphus appeals,
WODONGA: RACE 1 @ 1:10 PM
Interesting way to start the day and the recent Melbourne Cup winners look to have a smart filly on their hands in GOD ONLY KNOWS (12). Has looked strong winning two recent jumpouts, one at Ballarat and another at Flemington, when there looked to be plenty left in the tank. Looks to have the racing style that will be able to take full advantage of the low draw. WINTER HAIL (7) missed the frame when resuming last start over 1000m at Bendigo but wasn't all that far from the winner. Won't find this as tough. Sure to go well. BRENLYN'S LEGACY (4) has been primed for a good return after placing in two trials leading into this. Rates highly and bold showing expected. WINGSANDPROPELLERS (3) gave a sight on debut, when not beaten far, and should be thereabouts again. KGALAGADI (5) is on debut and has been well held in his past two jumpouts, but went to the line with plenty in hand and gets the blinkers here.
SELECTIONS: God Only Knows to win.
PAKENHAM: RACE 5 @ 8:15 PM
Good race, and excited to see smart mare KNOBELAS (5) resume. She went through the grades impressively as a 3yo, winning by big spaces at her second and third starts, then starting $1.90 in a good race at Flemington when overrun late. She profiles as a mare that could reach group class and if that's the case, she should be going close here despite giving away fitness. MERCURIAL LADY (6) could be an improver going to 1400m. She may have been unsuited staying at 1200m at Caulfield Heath last start but still ran well, now she can be allowed to roll forward and set a good tempo. EXPRESS GUARD (4) has been building nicely this time in and should be right there. KHADIME (8) won dominantly here last time and can measure up.
SELECTIONS: Knobelas to win.
ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 3 @ 1:57 PM
OUR TURN NOW (2) resumes here but was competitive in town before the spell and should find this assignment much more to his liking. Revved up for this with a recent trial and gets the services of Wiggins in the stirrups. Expect a strong showing while fresh. NIGHTSTICK (7) has a handy record over this seven-furlong trip with two wins and six placings from 13 outings. Top-three credentials on best form. BAYERISCHE (5) will be rock-hard fit for this and may trouble the judge with any luck in running. MOKTAFFY (3) broke back into the top-three last start when third at this track over 1400m, beaten half a length. Don't underestimate.
SELECTIONS: Our Turn Now to return a winner.
SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 4 @ 8:38 PM
The well-related HIGHGROVE ROSE (12) (half to G2 winner Not An Option) returned in good order with a close-up second here and looks ready for the extra furlong now. Likely improver second-up and has bright prospects. DEVINE SQUIRE (2) has hit the frame in both career outings to date and draws favourably in gate four. Looms as a real threat. CARAMELFUDGESUNDAE (15) presents some value from the inside draw and rates a genuine top-three candidate on recent efforts. ELUSIVE DOMINA (16) will be ready to peak now third-up from the break and can feature in the finish with any luck from the draw. MR DEMOCRAT (9) next in line with Rodd on board.
SELECTIONS: Highgrove Rose to break through.
MT GAMBIER: RACE 2 @ 3:50 PM
GAZELLE (12) continues to build nicely, finishing just a nose off the winner at Strathalbyn last time. With Milnes sticking and fitness peaking, she looks hard to beat. FLYING SHELBY (1) was prominent before boxing on into fourth at Hamilton over the mile. The drop back in trip suits, and from the inside draw he maps to get every favour. BANYAN JENNI (7) failed at Warrnambool when resuming but this looks a more suitable assignment. Expect sharp improvement. IMACREEDYTWO (2) was below his best last start but his Mortlake run two back was full of merit when charging late. Will get back from the draw and be saved for one run, capable of finishing over the top if the tempo is genuine.
SELECTIONS: Gazelle to win.
DARWIN: RACE 1 @ 3:25 PM
Competitive. PEEL THE STICKERS (2) is a former Victorian who has placed at both his starts in Darwin. Raced in Open grade the latest over 1300m, and his provincial and metro form over a mile reads well for this contest. Third up now and rates the one to beat. HOTIM ENGLISH (6) found one better seeking the hat-trick at 64 level. Keeps Todd and tumbles in weight at this level. That brings him right into it, and he will be fitter again and maps for a soft run. VIERI (7) was heavily bet to deliver the hat-trick in a 64 beaten 1L. He also gets plenty of weight relief and has been kept on the fresh side. A chance as well. AWASH (3) is better suited at this level and always puts in. Will get every chance from the inside barrier.
SELECTIONS: Backing Peel The Stickers.
