Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for November 25.
Australian thoroughbred meeting are today held at Tamworth, Ballina, Ararat and Cairns.
TAMWORTH: RACE 3 @ 3:05 PM
JOISELLE (5) returned in good style at Scone, finishing second over 1000m and showing she's come back well. She boasts a solid second-up record, has proven herself at this longer journey, and has been kept fresh with a trial in between. From a leading stable, she looks the one they'll have to beat. CRIMSON BONNET (7) closed off strongly into third at Scone last start and has a solid record at this course and distance. She doesn't need to improve much to be right in the finish. MYSTERY LAD (1) is a home track specialist who relishes this trip. The big weight is offset by the 4kg claimer, and from a good draw he should be in this for a long way. ENTERPRISE LEGEND (2) showed sharp early speed to lead throughout at Coonabarabran. Freshened since, he maps well again and can give another bold sight. KIMBERLEY MOON (6) was plain resuming but is much better than that effort. Already a winner at this track and trip, she has a strong second-up record and is worth another chance.
SELECTIONS: Joiselle to win.

BALLINA: RACE 3 @ 4:05 PM
DONT CALL ME HONEY (2) resumes with a sound fresh record. Slow into stride and covered ground on the turn when fourth over 1000m at the Sunshine Coast. Fitted with the one 850m trial and the visors come off. Value contender. DAWYN'S CHOICE (9) gets nice weight relief with the claim and comes here deep into the preparation. Drifted back and covered ground in the run when a plugging fifth with the 58.5kg over 800m at Ipswich. Sharp win two-back and sure to go well. EAGLE'S FIRE (4) was rewarded for his consistency with a slick victory in the small field over 1110m at Lismore. Only has to hold that form to win again. GOT GUMPTION (5) resumes with good fresh figures. Fitted with the two trials and ticks plenty of boxes on his home track. Each way contender.
SELECTIONS: Don't Call Me Honey will take catching.
ARARAT: RACE 7 @ 4:30 PM
THE KILL CLUB (13) was quickly back in form, beaten a neck over 1000m at Warrnambool. She's further improved, and although she's never raced on a dry surface, will be fitter again is suitably placed to go one better. SHOOTER MCGAVIN (4) resumes and has jumped out at Flemington. He has been racing over longer sprints but positions forward and gets in well this grade with the 3kg claim. No surprise to see him race well. SOMAURUM (16) spiked her figures, beaten a whisker over 1000m at Dunkeld. She can't be ruled out on that effort, and the rails barrier should advantage. FRANCINE (5) is free running and arrives off a win at Warnambool this grade and distance. The veteran keeps three times winning rider Meech and is sure to give a big sight.
SELECTIONS: Backing The Kill Club.
CAIRNS: RACE 2 @ 12:17 PM
SATISFIED MUGS (1) did a great job to score by 3.5 lengths over this course and distance when first-up from a layoff last time out. Racing in great heart and there is no reason why he cannot salute again. NORDIC INVADER (4) was in contention on the bend and finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 950m here, beaten 3.5 lengths. Gets Wiggins back on board and is nicely placed to play a major role. CAROHVIC (3) is back after a break of five months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1000m at Townsville. One to consider while fresh. MINNIE VEGAS (6) next in line by default.
SELECTIONS: Satisfied Mugs to win.
