Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for November 10.
Australian thoroughbred meeting are today held at Lismore, Mornington, Mount Isa.
LISMORE: RACE 7 @ 4:55 PM
LEICA GLOVE (6) lightly raced mare with ability returning from a lengthy break. Created a big impression at her second race start when gapping them over 1200m in a Super Maiden at Coffs Harbour last March. Ran last at the next start over 1400m at Eagle Farm. Given the two searching trials and makes plenty of appeal. ZIMBARA (7) indicated she was near her peak when holding on gamely from the draw to run fourth over 1200m at Ipswich. Will appreciate the claim from the low draw. Top three player. EAGLE'S FIRE (2) doesn't win out of turn, but the last two runs have been must stronger. Can race closer to the speed and figure prominently. CAPZINZI (4) good effort first up at Grafton but didn't do much last start at a huge quote at Port Macquarie. In the mix.
SELECTIONS: Leica Glove can make a positive start to the campaign.

MORNINGTON: RACE 6 @ 4:00 PM
CAMPARI TWIST (5) is going well having resumed off a short break at Ballarat over this trip, making the pace out in front and sticking on well for third, beaten 2.75 lengths. Stays at 1000m but will strip fitter and be in this for a long way. AUCKLAND (2) has won three in a row, measuring up to this grade well with another tough win at Echuca. He's struck a purple patch and can win again. SCREAM (7) was well beaten fresh but his best form would be competitive and his second up record of three wins from four starts certainly says he can turn things around quickly. SNICK (10) resumes. She doesn't win out of turn but is relatively consistent and can run well.
SELECTIONS: Campari Twist to win.
MT ISA: RACE 4 @ 2:20 PM
LAST DITCH EFFORT (8) was well fancied over 1200m at Cloncurry, beaten 2 lengths in Open grade. Came off a 9L win this track and trip in a 58 and he gets in well with the 2kg claim. The one to beat. NAPOLEON STRIKE (3) was in the placings at Richmond in a 65 and drops in the weights. Missed a whisker here prior in Open grade. Likely to push forward and will give a great sight. SWAMP NATION (4) is knocking on the door after just missing over 1200m at Cloncurry and at Richmond the one before. Expected to fight out the finish again. RESTRICTIONS (7) was in the placings at Richmond and should be prominent from the outset. Tumbles in weight and that gives him a chance.
SELECTIONS: Backing Last Ditch Effort.
