Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for September 22.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meeting are today held at Grafton, Narromine and Warrnambool.
GRAFTON: RACE 1 @ 1:35 PM
In a weak maiden OUR JEWEL (12) gets her chance. Backs up eight days after starting favourite but missing narrowly over 1600m at the Sunshine Coast. Raced three-wide without cover that day to add merit to the performance. Looks too good for these. THINK OF ONE (8) returned from a short spell with a respectable third over 1625m at Wyong last time out. Placed two from three when second-up and the step back to a country maiden helps. Looks the logical threat. JACOB'S WELL (5) hasn't been far away at his last couple, both over today's course and distance. Each-way chance. MINISTER GARRETT (6) might never win a race but throw him in the exotics on the back of a fair run here 13 days ago over this distance. CRASHMYPLAYA (2) strips fitter and is a sneaky top four chance.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Our Jewel.

NARROMINE: RACE 7 @ 5:35 PM
HIBIKI HARMONY (9) progressive mare who returned from a let up with a tiring on pace sixth over 1200m at Scone in C3 class. Strips fitter and gets out to her right trip today. Nose roll goes on and shapes as one of the top contenders. BONNIE AND BRUCE (6) has raced in tougher class of late after being outclassed by Aix En Provence when a disappointing sixth over 1800m at Bathurst. Won two-in-a-row earlier in the campaign and no shock to see him return to winning form. BLUE GUITAR (3) gave his all when running on late to snag third over 1800m in the Bathurst Cup. Drops in class and trip and not without each way prospects. DAWN COUNTY (7) tough old gelding who returned good figures when saluting two back at Scone, before working hard from the wide gate when a wilting fifth over 1400m at Tamworth. In leading stable and not to be overlooked.
SELECTIONS: Hibiki Harmony looks hard to hold out over the mile.
WARRNAMBOOL: RACE 4 @ 3:00 PM
IMMORTAL ROSE (10) was good first-up when charging into second here over 1700m and looks ideally placed to go one better over this longer journey. Hard to hold out. THE SMASH FACTOR (7) has been consistent this prep, hitting the line strongly again for third last time at this track. Should eat up the extra 300m and he rates major threat. CRACK A DEEL (12) was solid fresh at Sandown and wasn't beaten far in midfield Strip fitter and with improvement anticipated he's among the key chances. CHOUXDINO (1) has been below firm market expectations in his two runs back but did have some excuses last start. Worth another chance. NICOFFHOME (4) showed good early toe last start, only to be reeled in late. Can give plenty of cheek.
SELECTIONS: Immortal Rose to win.
