Australian thoroughbred TAB meeting are today held at Kensington, Grafton, Sandown Hillside, Doomben, Northam, Gawler and Darwin.

RANDWICK KENSINGTON: RACE 4 @ 2:35 PM

HASTY HONEY (1) can go on with things here off a dominant win second up over this track and distance when last seen, leading throughout from the soft gate to come away and score by 2.75 lengths. She draws the same marble here and claims down to a winnable weight. Go close. BELLA CORAZON (7) has come back well, running on well from midfield off a solid tempo to score nicely at Hawkesbury last time out. Can track up behind the pace here and looks well placed with 56kg and Lloyd aboard. CRIMSON MISS (8) is a lightly raced mare who found the line well at Newcastle last start with gaps behind. Has upside and can figure. SHE CONQUERS (6) struggled last time but could improve here.
SELECTIONS: Hasty Honey to win.

GRAFTON: RACE 1 @ 12:29

PMMatt Dunn-trained VIVIKA (14) was beaten a nose at Doomben on debut and resumes with two sharp trials under the saddle. Newman sticks from those and the filly carries just 53kg with her claim. Draws awkwardly, but she should have them well covered. No surprise to see stablemate CHILLED WITH ICE (2) race well first-up. Has likely had issues, but he won the first of his two trials, and Morgan is a positive jockey engagement. OH ARTHUR (5) debuts and they've brought him up from Goulburn. Must be showing plenty and he maps well. The 2kg claimer rode him in a recent Canberra trial. INTENSE STEEL (3) rode the speed and was beaten 1.4L at Coffs Harbour first up. Finds a dry track today but presents fitter and keeps the handy 2kg claim.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Vivika.

SANDOWN-HILLSIDE: RACE 4 @ 2:10 PM

HERBERT PARK (4) is a lightly raced mare back in grade after tackling a city assignment at Caulfield latest. Fitter again and did win only other try when third-up. Gets a chance to find winning form. DREAMZEL (8) is a super honest galloper who raced here last time and after racing on speed fought on well for third. Has placed both tries this course and distance. Has the claim and a low draw and will take running down again. CHARMED RUN (7) was second last fresh but only a few lengths away and in city grade. Drawn for a soft run with cover and with even luck can improve sharply. NASRAAWY (10) was a winner five back then super honest in the four runs since. Has good speed and will be in this for a long way again.
SELECTIONS: Follow up on Herbert Park.

DOOMBEN: RACE 4 @ 2:21 PM

BRAZEN ACT (2) is knocking on the door of a maiden victory placing in seven of ten starts overall and this is not an overly strong affair. Has placed three from three over this six-furlong journey and gets in on the minimum with the 2kg claim. Rates the testing material against this line-up. The well-related BOMBARD (8) (half to 2xG2 winner Cifrado) strips fitter second-up from the break and gets the reliable Gollan/Jones combination. Should play a role in the outcome. CHAMPAGNE TOWER (9) resumes here but showed enough when last in work to suggest she could be competitive in this contest. Top-three candidate while fresh. AVIOR (7) will be rock-hard fit for this and may trouble the judge with the right run in transit. DAY TO REMEMBER (4) rounds out the selections in a race with only a handful of chances.
SELECTIONS: Brazen Act to break the maiden status.

NORTHAM: RACE 5 @ 4:52 PM

GINGER MORPHEUS (1) looked a very progressive type last campaign, winning with ease as a $1.24 chance at Bunbury to break his Maiden. He was competitive in Saturday grade following that, and his trials suggest he hasn't taken a backward step. Looks the one to beat on resumption. COUNTESS OF KENNA (5) comes in off a 70-day break, though she has won a trial since her latest effort. She was just edged out in this grade at Ascot back in May and she has the speed to offset a sticky gate. Tends to go well fresh and can put her best foot forward. SNIPER'S SON (3) has been knocking on the door for a while now and comes into this off a 63-day freshen. The 3kg claim comes in handy and he maps to get his chance. Has raced around some handy types of late and is not to be discounted. SCENIC WINGS (8) put up a strong figure when breaking her maiden last start and can go on with the job. PINGERS (9) was solid under Pike last start and has claims on the back of that effort.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Ginger Morpheus.

GAWLER: RACE 5 @ 3:35 PM

Decent race with several horses on the cusp of a deserved win. I LOVERAIN (8) has been solid in both runs this campaign, including last start where he went forward and was nabbed late. Back to 1100m here looks suitable, as does the likelihood of another wet track. He can win. COOL THE JETS (1) is flying this campaign and the stable has found his sweet spot. He goes up in weight but he looks a winning chance again. PRODIGAL LAD (4) is drawn perfectly and will find this easier than last start, as will ALOHA BLUE (9) who has been racing well in metropolitan grade. Including JUSTICA'S BONUS (6) in wider plays.
SELECTIONS: Backing I Loverain to win.

DARWIN: RACE 6 @ 5:40 PM

TANNENBURG (3) let down powerfully to score comfortably by a length here in a similar field 11 days ago over 1300m. He will be even better over a mile, and despite having a wide gate, with an extra 2kg to carry, he should be the one to beat again. STORMFRONT (8) is a very progressive gelding who hails from the powerful Peter Robl stable. He cruised home here 11 days ago and has the scope to win this as well. HETTINGER (11) needed his fresh-up run here 18 days ago over 1300m, and usually improves quickly with racing. He has won 3 times on this track over a mile, and can figure in the finish. PINK PANTHER (7) set the pace and gave a good kick when finishing runner-up behind the second pick here last time out. He has a strong record over the mile and will take some pegging back again. AWASH (4) needed his first local run here fresh up from a spell 18 days ago. He will relish racing over a mile and will also drop down in class for his second-up assignment. Don't risk him.
SELECTIONS: Tannenburg can repeat the dose.
