Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for June 28.
Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Rosehill, Caulfield, Eagle Farm and Morphettville.
ROSEHILL: RACE 10 @ 4:30 PM
SNACK BAR (12) has his hoof on the till fifth up in what looks an easier contest. Kept finding on the line but no match for King Of Roseau when second over 1300m at this track. Suited back to the 1200m and lobs into the stalking position with the fast tempo. No excuses. LADY EXTREME (13) consistent mare who scored a well-deserved win in Midway class over the 1100m here at latest. Strips fitter now and not to be underestimated. DEPRIVATION (4) drops back a level for this after fading to run seventh over 1100m at Canterbury in BM88 grade. All six wins have come at this trip and further improvement expected. FLYING DESTINY (5) smart on his day and no shock to see him play a leading role with the 3kg claim from the good gate. EYE OF THE FIRE (2) undefeated in two first up runs and worth plenty of thought despite drawing out.
SELECTIONS: Snack Bar to finally break through.

CAULFIELD: RACE 6 @ 2:55 PM
THE BLACK CLOUD (3) comes down from Sydney off an encouraging first up run at Canterbury, showing early speed and sticking on well late for second. She didn't quite fire last time in but was in the market against better opposition and has won in Melbourne before. Her best rates very highly against these. CHEERSTOTHAT (5) is building an outstanding record, notching up her fifth career win from nine starts when last seen at Sandown Hillside. Tricky draw but can measure right up. EMPRESS OF WONDER (12) was no match for the talented Splash Back first up here but beat the rest and that form is very strong. Fitter for that and has always promised a bit. ROMANTIC CHOICE (1) hasn't been firing of late but has been contesting stronger races and her best would go close in this. SIXTEEN REASONS (7) resumes and can be hitting the line hard.
SELECTIONS: The Black Cloud to win.
EAGLE FARM: RACE 4 @ 1:28 PM
The $160,000 Listed Tattersall's Stakes. BRAVE DESIGN (1) broke through for a well-deserved win in the Listed Oxlade Stakes here last time out and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Meets a lot of similar gallopers in this contest and maps well from gate two. Should be going very close again. AUTUMN BOY (5) got the maiden out of the way at Canterbury on debut and gets the deadly Waller/McDonald combination. Can go back-to-back to commence the career. DUKE OF ARRAKIS (6) is another to shed the maiden tag first time at the races and winning hoop Bayliss sticks. Tougher company here but looks up to the task. The well-related FABULANTES (3) (full to G1 winner Startantes) draws low for Clark and is one for the multiples. ROYAL CHIC (13) also hails from a handy family (half to G1 winner Royal Merchant) and may earn some minor money again.
SELECTIONS: Brave Design to salute again.
MORPHETTVILLE PARKS: RACE 2 @ 12:07 PM
Deep race for an off-season three-year-old contest. THE SPRINKLER (2) was brilliant when winning a feature race last time. He hasn't hit his ceiling yet and looks well placed to win again here. Tricky draw but he gets the services of leading jockey Jake Toeroek. ENUFF SEDUCTION (4) comes out of the same race as The Sprinkler and caught the eye late. On his best form, which includes a Stakes placing behind subsequent Group 1 winner Reserve Bank, he looks the biggest danger. PURFECT LINE (7) just keeps racing well and can run a cheeky race from a good draw. COLMAR (1) is a classy type and looks like he's getting back to something like his best. Throwing TRIPOD TERROR (8) in trifectas and first fours.
SELECTIONS: The Sprinkler to win.
