Today’s Horse Racing Tips - 29th March 2025

Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for March 29.

Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Flemington, Morphettville and Ascot.

FLEMINGTON: RACE 5 @ 2:30 PM

See no reason to jump off ENXUTO (10) who is flying. He's won his past three and looked unsuited dropping back to 1400m here last time out but still proved too good for Capper Thirtynine who has just been beaten half a length by Is It Me. That form looks good and now Enxuto gets back out to 1600m which suits even better. IMMEDIACY (6) resumes. His form last time in doesn't read all that well on paper but he was only 3.5 lengths (and closed off nicely) by Pericles in a good race first up last time in. Looks a good each-way chance. HELLSING (11) ran on well second up behind Enxuto after settling last. Now gets to 1600m and has been fancied to turn the tables. MUNHAMEK (1) is consistent and should be thereabouts again. NUGGET (2) was even fresh, he could improve.
SELECTIONS: Backing Enxuto & Immediacy.

MORPHETTVILLE: RACE 8 @ 5:07 PM

Terrific contest. QATARS CHOICE (4) boasts strong form lines with subsequent winners aplenty surrounding her. Been searching for the mile and can explode off a 35-day freshen. HURRICANE GEORGIE (2) has been solid in her three runs back and should be primed for this off sticking on gamely behind the progressive Benagil last start at Caulfield. Blinkers go on first time to sharpen her up. Obvious danger. COMANCHE MISS (3) was well supported fresh at Pakenham and looked to have it won before getting captured on the line. Is sure to have come on with that run under her belt and has run well over the mile. RIGHT OF VETO (9) chased gamely into second behind a promising one last start in a strong BM0-68. Kept fresh for this and has upside. Don't overlook. HORIZONS (11) has gone better than her form suggests and will appreciate the rise to the mile. Don't disregard completely.
SELECTIONS: Qatars Choice to win. Saving on Horizons each-way.

ASCOT: RACE 8 @ 8:00 PM

BRAVO CENTURION (1) is a very progressive type who had probably had enough by the Winterbottom Stakes last campaign. He comes into this without a trial, but he's a speedy customer and we probably haven't seen the best of him yet. Should get to the lead and be tough to run down. JOKERS GRIN (10) just missed at the end of last campaign over 1200m, but he's another very progressive type. The draw may be a niggle for him, though he's trialled impressively in the lead up and he'll be finishing strongly. GINNIVAN (4) resumes up in grade but worked through the grades nicely last campaign. He has trial form around Joker's Grin and he too should be up on the speed from the barrier. Can give a bold sight. SALOON BAR (2) resumes with Pike in the saddle, though his fresh record is a niggle. Expecting him to be hitting the line strongly, but further is better for him. BABY PARIS (7) is one who can fly fresh and is not to be discounted.
SELECTIONS: Bravo Centurion can continue his rise through the ranks.
