Winning Trainer: Peter Moody & Katherine Coleman (Moody speaking)
Developing nicely: "Well she's always shown us a bit, Nigel and Anthony thankfully have been patient when they've got one they're going to breed from."
"She was one of our better two-year-olds, believe it or not; it just took forever to come to the party. She's come back this preparation in good order, slowly stepping through the grades, but we were nearly going to go to Ballarat on Wednesday for a (benchmark) 70.
"But we just thought this set her up for a couple of those mile and a quarter stakes races over the next few weeks, if she comes through this well, she's a nice progressive filly, not real sure where she sits in the food chain yet because she keeps improving, which is very pleasing.
"Always thought she'd get a mile and a quarter but you never know with these, like fourth trip to the races. She might be a seven furlong horse, we're not quite sure yet, but the reason she was here today, you've got that nice 2,000 metre mares race on Cox Plate Day (which) leads into the Matriarch at Flemington.
"She's probably earnt a crack at those now, and that'll probably tell us a little bit more to whether she will run those trips."
How it unfolded: "Well, it looked good; we set up lovely, we were getting a soft run outside the leader, and then the Indians took off at the 800 (metres) and put the pressure into the race. I thought she might have folded at the two; credit, she found good, and Zac didn't panic when they got around him.
"I told him to wait until he'd straightened to ask her because last start she was going to win comfortably and only fell in and maybe a short, sharp sprint and he executed it well."
Special carnival: "Only one problem is we haven't got Caulfield beside the trainers name, but Pakenham's a great home, and thanks to all the team out there, they do one hell of a job. So let's hope it's the start of a good day for the Pakenham team."
Winning Jockey: Zac Spain
On the win: "It's fantastic. Mood's left me with a pretty open book. If she began well, keep it simple. If she steps slow, just ride her with a bit of cover. She began really well. She got no weight on her back. Just travelled beautifully throughout."
"A little bit of pressure came at the 600 (metres), and she's a mare with a good turn of foot, so I was happy to just keep her into a rhythm. Once we straightened up, she sort of got half length in front, and she went to clock off, but there's good improvement there."
I think she's a mare that's definitely better ridden with a little bit of cover, but she got the job done today."
Could get further: "She was really determined, which is good. You always want to see that in these horses, and it was funny she didn't change legs till late, and I reckon that's when she started to progress through the line.
"So, I think she'll get further. As I said, she'll be better ridden with a bit of cover, but big special thanks to Mood's and Kat and Anthony from Rosemont for giving me the opportunity to ride her today."
