This morning's training session unfolded under excellent weather conditions, with seven horses put through their paces in fast workouts while many others enjoyed lighter exercise.
Zeus, ridden by Roberto Perez, produced a razor-sharp 600m gallop, confirming he is primed for his eagerly awaited debut in this Saturday's firecracker. Stable companion Zil Moris impressed with a smart 200m spurt, showing clear improvement following his eye-catching debut.
Meridius also looked in fine shape, completing a solid 600m gallop and responding encouragingly to his rider's urgings in the final straight.
The morning concluded with Fine One, who unleashed a powerful turn of foot in the straight and up the hill. His display strongly suggested he is ready to make a statement on debut.
