Winning Trainer: Chris Waller (Charlie Duckworth comments)
On the win: "I think she might have almost given Kerrin a fright how quickly she quickened up rounding the home turn. She is just electric. Obviously she is very versatile in terms of how to be ridden. She has got bags of speed. Her optimum distance range who knows. She is just very very good."
Rounding the turn: "I don't think he even asked her. He might have been just thinking about asking her and she took off. She is awesome. She is the best horse in training who hasn't won a G1 yet. I'm sure that will come with time. Chris mentioned plotting a path towards an Epsom. Weight will obviously be a factor in that but she is certainly/hopefully going to be winning more G1s than just a handicap G1."
Over the mile: "She looked like she settled straight away today. I think a mile will be no issue. Out of a very fast sprinting mare but does have The Autumn Sun on the sire line. I think she is that good it doesn't really matter. Even if she doesn't see a mile out, but could be good enough to be winning an Epsom."
On The Everest?: "I think that is another problem. It is a lovely problem to have. Hermitage and Arrowfield have paired together buying a beautiful horse. Spent a pretty penny on her but they've got their reward."
Winning Jockey: Kerrin McEvoy
On the run: "Timmy (Clark) came over and just wanted to keep me on the rail. On a short-priced favourite I didn't really want to be third the fence in an ideal world. So I just came back and she travelled ever so well.
"She was up and ready to go on the corner. I got her mobile and probably hit the front early enough but she's a star in the making, which we already know. "
Epsom or Everest?: "Good question. I think she'll stay further but she's got a motor as well. I'm sure Chris and the team will make the right call. Probably a mile because then I might be a chance to ride her."
Beaten Jockeys:
Ethan Brown (Pier): "Rapt. Obviously against the pattern of the day. He peaked late but rounded his race off well."
Zac Lloyd (Democracy Manifest): "He is just looking for further."
Jason Collett (Encap): "Ran great. He was terribly sluggish from the gate. Gave them too much of a start at this level but what he did the last two furlongs was good."
Braith Nock (El Castello): "Definitely short of his pet trip. I thought he executed well, followed the winner the majority of the way. Just found that last little bit a bit sharp."
Tim Clark (General Salute): "Excellent performance. Couldn't be prouder of him.'
Alysha Collett (Femminile): "A little bit sharp for her. Ran through the line nicely."
Andrew Adkins (Strait Acer): "He was OK. I was pleased with him. Would have liked to have seen him run through the line a bit better. He's an older horse who will take a run or two to get complete fitness. Will enjoy stepping up through his distances."
Rachel King (Espionage): "Really pleased with him. Did a bit of work from the outside gate. Pleased with how he kept chasing to the line."
