This is the Autumn version over 2000m and will be run at Tokyo.
No doubt Japanese racing fans will be celebrating the win of Forever Young in the Breeders' Cup Class but there are plenty of nice horses at home and some of them have turned up to run in this race.
Masquerade Ball is the current favourite on 2.6 and is a 3yo Duramente colt which gives him a weight advantage. Christophe Lemaire has the ride. Next in the market comes Meisho Taberu a 4yo Gold Ship colt who will be ridden well and Take is the jockey – they are on 6.0 with good reports on his recent trackwork.
Tastieri has visiting Australian jockey Damien Lane on board and is well-credentialed for this race. They are on 6.2.
However we have a very soft spot for Ho O Biscuits who has been kind to us in the past and was third in this race last year. He's e/w value on 20.3 and Y Iwate rides. He's been given very good reports from the trackwork watchers so who knows?
