With Longchamp getting ready for the Arc weekend we go to Chantilly this weekend.

There are three G3s on the card starting with the Prix Eclipse for the 2yos over 1200m with the going predicted as Good to Soft.  There are 8 runners and we are going very wide here with Daisy Daisy 14/1 for Monfort-Lecouevre by Bated Breath who won her first two outings – certainly at a lower level but she went well and has the fillies weight advantage.  Ceramic is by Lope de Vega and Chris Head has Guyon riding – they are on 6/1 and for the boys Samangan 7/2 is a Blue Point colt and Graffard has Barzalona on board as he is from the Aga Khan's estate.

The Prix de Chênes is for 2yo c&g over 1600m with a field of seven. Elastic is a Lope de Vega on 11/2 for Ferland-Guyon and on the same quote we find Synaran, by Mehmas,for Graffard-Barzalona.  Both these have a second and a win from their two starts to date.  Segall is by Sotsass and with Fabre who has Demuro riding – he won on debut and looks promising.

The Bertrand de Tarragon is for f&m over 1800mand has attracted 18 runners.  Raider American Girl is on 5/2  for Walker-  Barzalona with Relaxx on 7/2 for the Lerners with Soumillon riding and Place Fontenay should enjoy the trip and is on 9/1 for Clement and Hermans with Pasquier riding.
