R1 - Tattersalls Online Royal Lodge Stakes (13:50 Newmarket)

Action looks like the pick of the O'Brien contingent under Wayne Lordan, but he might struggle to lay a glove on the well-regarded Bow Echoe, who has been the talk of the town since George Boughey talked about his last piece of work. Unbeaten in two outings to date, it was tough not to be impressed with the way that he battled back against the larger Publish in the Listed Ascendant Stakes last time. He should have more to offer and can remain unbeaten.

R2 - Tattersalls Sceptre Sessions Cheveley Park Stakes (14:25 Newmarket)

Aidan O'Brien won this twelve months ago with Lake Victoria and could do so once more with True Love, who was reportedly slightly lame when beaten at odds of 1/4 in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes this season. This daughter of No Nay Never looked oh so impressive in both the Group 2 Queen Mary and Railway Stakes on her prior two outings and can bounce back to winning ways.

R3 - Tattersalls Middle Park Stakes (15:00 Newmarket)

Charlie Appleby hasn't exactly set the world alight so far this meeting, but his Wise Approach looks like the most solid option in this year's Middle Park. He has plenty of experience, should have no problem on an undulating track like this, and arrives following an excellent third-place finish in the Group 1 Prix Morny Stakes. He looks steadily progressive and could take another step forward to land this prize.

R4 - bet365 Cambridgeshire (15:40 Newmarket)

The booking of Oisin Murphy on Fort George catches the eye. The champion jockey would have had plenty of options in this, having rode Treble Tee to victory last time out, but he sticks with the horse he guided to an all-the-way success in a competitive Newbury handicap last time. This improving three-year-old has been progressing with every outing to date this season and can defy a 9lb hike in the weights.
