Sam King is back with two selections on Monday.

The best bet of the day comes from Kempton this evening, where Dancing Flower  is expected to take a big step forward on her second career outing (5.30).

Trained by master handler Charlie Appleby, she looked desperately in need of her initial experience when third on debut at Newmarket, keeping on strongly up the hill having raced greenly throughout at the rear of the field.

That form looks solid with the winner Orion's Belt, rated in the 90s and now a runner-up in the Group 3 Dick Poole Stakes at Salisbury last week.

Charlie Appleby is no stranger to running useful prospects at Kempton and better is clearly better expected from this filly this evening, with early market signs positive.

A full sister to two-year-old Group 3 winner Dance Sequence and granddaughter of the Group 1 Fillies' Mile scorer Playful Act, there's no doubt this Dark Angel filly is bred to be useful, while her draw in stall six should give William Buick plenty of options tactically.

The penalised Fillies' Mile entrant Flash Of Fire clearly commands respected but she might struggle to give the promising Dancing Flower 7lb from her draw in stall nine.

Returning to the all-weather looks like a huge-plus for Newfangled, who heads to the one-mile handicap at Kempton tonight (6.00) on the back of a solid third-place finish on quick ground at Windsor last month.

The Johnny Portman-trained four-year-old might look like being a touch high in the weights racing off 2lb higher than when third at Windsor, but he's four from ten on the all-weather and was a winner off a 3lb lower mark earlier in the season.

Market leader Lessay needs to prove he can back up a good performance that came just four days ago, while fellow danger Falmouth Lad is now back on a different surface racing off 4lb higher than when successful at Newmarket last time.

Rob Hornby has a good draw to work with in gate two and at a general price of around the 8/1 mark, this gelded son of New Bay looks a rock-solid each-way contender.
