Clairefontaine – R7 - Grand St-chase Handicap Chase

- Eye-catching reappearance

- Previous course winner

- Well-handicapped

Motu Fareone might have only been eighth when behind the re-opposing Showly in a handicap chase at this venue on her return, but she wasn't beaten all that far and that effort came following five months off the track. Trained by David Windrif, she's a six-time winner from sixteen outings over fences, so certainly knows how to get the job done, and brings winning course form to the table. Her latest effort should have put her spot on for this assignment, while the step back up in distance will not pose an issue given, she finished third in the Grade 3 Grand Prix de La Ville de Nice over further at Cagnes-sur-Mer last season.
