The Racing League might not be everyone's cup of tea, but you cannot deny that it produces some competitive handicaps.

I tipped Night On Earth when he lined up in a competitive sprint at Haydock on Sunday and to be honest, for much of the contest, I was counting the cash. Ian Williams' charge was eventually collared late home by the bonus-seeking Spring Is Sprung but it was a performance that suggested his turn to re-enter the winners' enclosure was surely just around the corner.

With that in mind, it is hardly surprising that connections have opted to turn him out in the Racing League just four days later and he must rate as a huge player in Windsor's opening sprint at 5.00.

He showed bundles of early speed when fitted with the visor at Haydock and from a good draw in stall three near the often-favoured rail with the same headgear retained, he will surely be putting up a bold bid off an unchanged rating.

1pt Win – Night On Earth

Odds – 9/2

Mythical Guest struggled for a clear run when well-held in a mile handicap at Ascot last time out and can be given another chance in the mile handicap at Windsor (7.00) this evening.

A winner from 2lb higher at Newmarket last season, Mythical Guest certainly looks handicapped to go close given some of his performance in 2025.

In hindsight, George Margason's charge had little chance when bumping into both My Cloud and Bullet Point when third and second at Newmarket and Ascot respectively earlier in the season. Those two went on to fill the first two places in the Royal Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot in June, with the first mentioned now rated 104 (he was rated 80 at the time of beating Mythical Guest) and looking destined for group company.

That form looks particular solid, while he also ran well when one spot behind tonight's market leader Jimmy Speaking at Ascot in July. George Margason's contender has a 7b swing in the weights with that rival, who has since won at Yarmouth, and although he'll likely need some luck in running from stall one, it wouldn't be at all surprising were he to go close off this workable rating.

1pt Win – Mythical Guest

Odds – 8/1

Over at Salisbury, Ralph Beckett's Favorite Memory could take all the beating in the mile and a half fillies' handicap at 4.35 if back on-song.

Beckett and Rossa Ryan team up to win the contest twelve months ago with a three-year-old in the shape of Allonsy and they may do so once more.

A nicely-bred daughter of Frankel, Favorite Memory ran too bad to be true when virtually tailed off in the Listed Aphrodite Fillies' Stakes at Newmarket (July) last time out.

However, she was sent off just a mere 15/2 chance for that Listed prize and better was clearly expected from connections.

That tame effort came on rain-softened ground, so returning to a sounder surface this afternoon ought to be in her favour, while it's hard to shake the manner of her prior facile Doncaster maiden success from your mind.

The form of her prior runner-up effort at Kempton also looks very solid, with the winner Silent Love now carrying a rating of 100 following her battling success in the Listed Chalice Stakes at Newmarket (July) recently.

I'm of no doubt that Ralph Beckett's filly is capable of better than her current mark of 87 and in all truth, it will be disappointing if she cannot oblige on this handicap debut.

2pt Win - Favorite Memory

Odds – 11/8
