The sizeable son of Justify has gone from strength-to-strength since finishing fifth in the Queens Vase at Royal Ascot, winning the Bahrain Trophy at Newmarket in facile style before getting up late on deny stablemate Illinois in the two-mile Goodwood Cup at Glorious Goodwood last week.

Scandinavia, who currently sits top of the ante-post market for the final British Classic of the season, could be joined by O'Brien's Epsom Derby hero Lambourn, while Oaks heroine Minnie Hawk also holds an entry.

Whirl hasn't looked back since tasting defeat to her stablemate Minnie Hawk at Epsom, winning both the Pretty Polly Stakes and Nassau Stakes in fine style. O'Brien revealed following her Nassau success that 'all options remained open' for her, and she too, holds an entry in the Doncaster Classic.

Galveston, Mount Kilimanjaro, Puppet Master, Saratoga, Shackleton, Stay True and Thrice make up the potential eleven-strong Ballydoyle team.

Following his gutsy success in the Gordon Stakes at Goodwood last week, William Haggas issued warnings to those who were taking the general 8/1 on offer for Merchant in the St Leger and for good reason, as the Highclere-owned three-year-old failed to feature in the entries on Tuesday.

However, owners Highclere still look likely to be represented, with the Charlie Johnston-trained Derby runner-up Lazy Griff firmly in line to take his chance.
