Always towards the fore under Wayne Lordan, the three-year-old son of Australia galloped on resolutely to see off both the reopposing Lazy Griff and Tennessee Stud in fine style, providing Aidan O'Brien with his eleventh Epsom Derby in the process and replicating the feat of his sire in 2014.

Lambourn is a general 10/11 market leader to complete the memorable double and will start from gate five, while both Charlie Johnston's Lazy Griff and Joseph O'Brien's Tennessee Stud, who filled the second and third spot at Epsom, have been handed stalls four and ten respectively.

Jessica Harrington's Green Impact will step up to a mile and a half for the first time following his victory in the nine-furlong Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Glencairn Stakes at Leopardstown earlier in the month.

Ralph Beckett landed the Pretty Polly Stakes over this weekend twelve months ago thanks to Arc heroine Bluestocking and will be hoping for another successful raid on Sunday courtesy of Pride Of Arras, who will start from stall eight.

This year's Dante Stakes winner heads to Ireland on something of a revival mission having only beat one horse home when sent off 4/1 for the Epsom Classic earlier in the month. Rossa Ryan will take the ride on Pride Of Arras, while his stablemate Sir Dinadan will be ridden by Richard Kingscote.

As well as Lambourn, the master of Ballydoyle will also saddle his Lingfield Derby Trial Stakes winner Puppet Master, who was withdrawn from the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot last week, while King George V Stakes runner-up Serious Contender, Thrice and Shackleton make up the five-strong Aidan O'Brien team.
