The 2025 Grand National field has become clear after six horses were removed at Monday’s confirmation stage.

Capodanno, L'Homme Presse, Velvet Elvis, Minella Drama, Quick Wave and Fontaine Collonges all failed to be confirmed on Monday, meaning Hyland, Celebre D'Allen, Three Card Brag, and Twig will now make the cut.

However, with Duffle Coat, Shakem Up'Arry and Roi Mage all due to carry 10st 4lb, it remains to be seen who will take the last spot in this year's line-up.

At the time of elimination, the horse with the highest rating will be determined as the final runner, but if two or more horses have the same mark, then a random ballot will take place to decide the 34th spot.

The final field will be confirmed when declarations are made at 10am on Thursday, with those currently below the cutline not completely ruled out should horses above them on the list be removed.
