Race 1
Race Summary: An interesting start to the card. Champion sire Frankel has not had many runners in South Africa and we await a very good one. MADRA RUA was expected to win on debut but was a disappointment in that he only finished sixth. It was behind the decent Happy Verse and that was back in January. He returns from a break and would not be a surprise winner. HONORINE'S GIMMIE did not show much in his three starts but also returns from a break and is likely to improve. RED WAVE should like this track and distance and can go close to winning. Watch the betting on the first-timers.

Race 2
Race Summary: It may pay to be with the newcomers in this race. GIMMEANOTHERVIKING is a Gimmethegreenlight filly and there is already talk about her talent so she can win on debut. VROOM VROOM makes her debut for trainer Justin Snaith and Richard Fourie takes the ride and this Gimmethegreenlight filly is well bred. LOVE HER MADLY and TRIPLEBELL look the best of those with racing experience and they can earn some money.

Race 3
Race Summary: A very difficult race and punters will be hoping the betting support will give a guide to a possible winner. THELEIA makes her debut for trainer Andre Nel. This Querari filly could be ready to score on debut. LITTLE NIMBUS has been a disappointment so far but is a daughter of Clouds Unfold and she could strike at any time. FANTINE has only had the one run and should improve. INNERBLOOM and WINTER IN AUCKLAND were not beaten far on debut and are likely to improve. There are some newcomers with good breeding.

Race 4
Race Summary: OBJET D' ART has shown promise in his three starts and sets the standard for the race. SICILY has shown improvement in his last two starts and can contest the finish once again. Stable companions from Snaith Racing PRINCE OF EGYPT and SUNSHINE SUPERMAN are both coming off disappointing performances but are capable of winning a race of this nature. MONTESSORI makes his debut and the Vercingetorix colt could be anything.

Race 5
Race Summary: A good Listed race. MASTER REDOUTE needed his last start. He was not beaten far in this year's Cape Met and he is the one to be with. Snaith has some nice runners in the race. Best of them could be TRIPLE TIME. He does not always show what he is capable of but does not have any concerns with this course and distance and should contest the finish. Stable companion MASTER OF PARIS won a good race last time out but this is a lot stronger. AHEAD OF THE FACTS also represents the yard and he is talented and not out of it. CONGRESSMAN has shown good improvement of late and could be just as good over this longer distance.

Race 6
Race Summary: A very open race and we may have to go very wide to survive this leg of the Pick 6. SYMPHONY IN WHITE has to give most of her rivals weight but is in good form. CANDY TOWN returns from a break and could be at her very best over the minimum trip. HIERARCHY is improving and could be a threat. BABELICIOUS and TANNERON are better than their last runs and could be worth throwing in large Pick 6 permutations. Stable companions ARTISTE and FESTIVAL CHIC are in good form and are not out of it. Snaith representatives PINK PIGEON and WILD APPLAUSE are two others that can win.

Race 7
Race Summary: ANOTHERDANCEFORME is unbeaten in six starts and continues to impress. She beat rival in this QUICKSTEPGAL comfortably at HWB Greyville and can do it again over this testing course and distance. That defeat was only the second time QUICKSTEPGAL has lost in her six starts. She is talented and should fight out the finish. SHE'S MY WORLD is hat-trick seeking after some good wins but this is a tougher ask of her. PRINCESS OF GAUL clearly needed her last run and was a good winner of her previous two starts. GIMME WHAT I WANT is improving and has won her last two starts. STORMWATCH and WISH LIST are also talented and must be respected.

Race Summary: Another quality race. GARRIX has improved since gelding. He was touched over further last time out and will like this shorter distance. He should make a bold bid at beating these rivals. SUGAR MOUNTAIN likes a very heavy track so keep an eye on him if the heavens open. MAGIC VERSE was an easy winner of his latest and can be a threat. ZEITZ and LEGAL COUNSEL are both improving and are not out of it. RED PALACE has won in a higher division than this and should be right there at the finish yet again.

Race Summary: VIVA'S LIBERTE is unbeaten in two starts. And both of those wins were impressive and he was well backed. He tackles stronger this time but can complete a hat-trick. YAMAZAKI is consistent and can contest the finish. BEWARE showed improvement to win his second start and could have more to offer. NOTE TO SELF and CAPTAINS ALLIANCE are in good form and should contest the finish. GURKHA seems better than his last run and can make the frame.

Race Summary: A competitive end to a good card. FAST TRAIN is not well drawn but he did show improvement in his second start and can go one better. KONNICHIWA is knocking at the door and should go close to winning from a good draw. FEAR OF FIRE has improved of late and has a place chance. GREENCHOICE is threatening to win a race and should be right there at the finish once again. FUTURE KAT and can improve and be a threat. SUPER VIKING and FORT LAW are badly drawn but would not be surprise winners.
