Race Summary: WAR EMPEROR showed good pace at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on debut. He must improve and should have a big say at the second time of asking. CLEARTHERUNWAY wasn't far off WAR EMPEROR and showed his inexperience. He has drawn well and could get into the action this time. WAR EMPEROR's stablemate, LIGHT THE FIRE, needed his penultimate start and then found 1600m a bit far last time. He has drawn well and must be taken seriously. DUNGEON MASTER has shown good pace and needs to be included. TASK FORCE needed his debut run and must be watched.

Race Summary: PRIORY TERRACE was beaten as odds-on favourite last time but was returning from a break and did make progress at the business end. She is back on turf and could step up on that performance. Watch out for PIZAZZ, a well-bred filly by Vercingetorix who tired late on debut. She has room for good improvement. CHAMPAGNE PROBLEMS looked dangerous on the Polytrack last time. If she can repeat the effort on turf she could get the job done but a wide draw is a concern. PENAN NOM and CHIMES AT MIDNIGHT have done enough for minor money.

Race 3
Race Summary: Competitive event. SWORD SPEED played up at the start but took the race to the wire with only a more experienced runner touching him off. He has drawn well and can go one better. GREEN GLOW also has big claims. He has finished runner-up in both starts and has proven stamina. He has been coming from well off the pace but knows the track now. Rested DIRECTOR has been doing well from near the front and is consistent. He could show more now gelded. RED CARDINAL stayed on well over 1400m and gives the impression he would relish the distance and further.

Race 4
Race Summary: AMELIA'S LEGACY sprinted well on her 1200m debut even though bred for distance. She should appreciate the 1400m but was green on debut and now tries the bend. CRIMSON TYPHOON could take advantage. She is also well bred and showed fair potential on her debut run over 1400m on the Polytrack. What A Winter filly THOUGHT CONTROL is highly thought off and could come in for betting support. ECHO has been running decent races over different distances and should be in the money again. More can improve.

Race 5
Race Summary: It could get close between SPECTACULAR and CONTINENTALEXPRESS. The former produced a solid finish to beat the latter by 1.10 lengths but is 2kg worse off. CONTINENTALEXPRESS is proven over the distance and is expected to give of his best this time but SPECTACULAR may also be looking for the trip. THE MIKADO is holding form well and there is no reason to believe he won't turn the form around with CONTINENTALEXPRESS at the revised weights. KING BAVARIAN is useful and could be hard to peg back with a light weight. RODRIGUEZ could also have a say.

Race Summary: Wide-open race. PRANKSTER met stronger last time and is one from one at the track. But she may just need it after a rest. WHEREVERILAYMYHAT is overdue. He went close when last tried over the track and trip but is dropping in distance from his last start. CAPPELLINO has yet to win at this course but is in good nick and has secured gate No 1. ARVERNI PRINCESS has won two of her last three. She doesn't benefit from an apprentice claim this time but loves the track and trip and must be included. RHYTHM ran a better race in his last start and could prove to be the value option.

Race Summary: PRINCESS HANNAH was a bit unlucky not to find a clear passage last time. She is back against her own sex and is best weighted so must rate a serious contender. Watch out for WINTER RAINFALL who posted a fair local debut. She has some high-class Western Cape form and could make use of a decent draw. CAPTAIN'S CHRISTY's merit rating has dropped a few points but is holding form and it could be the right race for her. SIESTA SUNSET won a nice race last time but has a tougher test now. AYUWI YUWI is one of many with an upset claim.

Race Summary: Solid field for this B Stakes and the best race of the day. GOLDEN RULE has been hard to catch over the distance and from draw No 1 could lead from start to finish. But this is tougher and he will need to up his game. AMOR FATI was most eye catching in his last start. He has a 4kg apprentice claim to boost his chances but will need to jump on terms. WINTER GAMES has run well in stronger races and should have every chance from a decent gate. PLAZA ACCORD, WICCAN WARRIOR and ROSH KEDESH weren't far off last time and must be respected. IMPOSING has drawn widest.

Race Summary: QUEEN BRAGANZA was an eye-catching debut winner. She came from well off the pace on the Polytrack over 1000m and should relish 1200m on the turf. But this is much more competitive. THINGAMABOB showed good resolve to win on local debut and also looks to have more to come. ARE YOU SURE made good progress in her last start and finished ahead of ICY LANCASTER who has improved of late. Both fillies need to be taken seriously. PRINCESS GOLDIE got her confidence boosted but will need to find more in this event.
