Race 1
Race Summary:
PANJANDRUM and HAZEL GREEN have the form and experience to fight out the finish, including recent course-and-distance thirds. BEAUTIFUL ONE could also have a role to play reverting to this shorter trip although a bigger threat will likely come from newcomers SAACHI ONE, IONA CASTLE and FANTINE. Watch the betting and follow the market movers!

Selections:

#5 Panjandrum, #10 Hazel Green, #3 Saachi One, #6 Iona Castle

Race 2
Race Summary:
Consistent TIME FOR LOVE is weighted to win and is ideally distance suited so she should be hard to beat. UNDERWORLD would have benefitted from his comeback in a 1400m Grade 3 and this extended trip will be more to his liking. Stablemates MAGIC VERSE and TRIPLE TIME return from respective absences but have the means to make their presence felt too.

Selections:

#1 Time For Love, #5 Underworld, #3 Magic Verse, #4 The Futurist

Race 3
Race Summary:
GOT THE LOOK was beaten at short odds last time over track and trip by a highly rated subsequent winner, and a repeat of that performance should well suffice. DESTINY'S DREAM and BOOZY SUSIE will know more about it after satisfactory introductions so they could improve to trouble the selection. XTINES PRINCESS is another likely improver who could get into the picture. Newcomers SPIRIT OF NICAL, AIN'T MISBEHAVIN', MIDNIGHT LADY and REFLECT also warrant respect on debut, especially if the market speaks in their favour.

Selections:

#7 Got The Look, #12 Boozy Susie, #1 Destiny's Dream, #11 Spirit Of Nical

Race 4
Race Summary:
FLYING SOUTH made no impression last time against winners on her Western Cape return but she will find it easier being back in a maiden and should feature prominently as a result. WYZE DECLARATION and PITERAQ made encouraging improvement last time with the benefit of an introductory outing and should have roles to play with further progress expected. BLUE LAGOON is awkwardly drawn but fits a similar profile. Nicely bred debutantes KATTEKWAADKWADRAAD and PEACEFUL DUCHESS aren't taken lightly.

Selections:

#4 Flying South, #3 Wyze Declaration, #12 Blue Lagoon, #1 Kattekwaadkwadraad

Race 5
Race Summary:
GREENCHOICE is awkwardly drawn but would not be winning out of turn after consecutive seconds. FORT LIAM should have finished closer than he did on debut so, with natural improvement, will likely make his presence felt. OCEAN SKY, BLUE STEEL and GALE WARNING have the form and experience to get involved too. Watch the betting on Futura first-timers KEY BOARD and LUCKY LUKE.

Selections:

#11 Greenchoice, #4 Fort Liam, #3 Ocean Sky, #5 Blue Steel

Race 6
Race Summary:
LOWVELD LILY confirmed the promise she showed as a 2yo when making a winning 3yo reappearance over track and trip. She would have come on with the benefit of that comeback outing and will have more to offer, so it could pay to follow her progress. KINDA WONDERFUL wasn't beaten far from a wide draw in a 1400m Grade 3 recently so she should have a role to play in this field. SCARLET MACAW has a bit to find on that form but is weighted to be competitive. Stable companion SYMPHONY IN WHITE is effective racing fresh from a break so cannot be underestimated.

Selections:

#5 Lowveld Lily, #7 Kinda Wonderful, #3 Symphony In White, #6 Scarlet Macaw

Race 7
Race Summary:
OUTLAW KING attracted spirited betting support when running on to finish an eye-catching 3rd in a course-and-distance Grade 3 on his Cape Town return last month and a repeat of that performance off an unchanged mark will see him fight out the finish. ZEITZ ended his 3yo season with a Listed victory on HWB Durban July day and is open to improvement this term after a subsequent gelding operation. Best-weighted ROYAL AUSSIE snapped a long winless spell with a last-start success over 1200m and is also competitive off the same mark. GALLIC DREAM and LET IT BE SAID (headgear fitted) have claims too.

Selections:

#2 Outlaw King, #5 Zeitz, #7 Royal Aussie, #8 Gallic Dream

Race 8
Race Summary:
Promising 3yo colts UNITED FRONT and GALLIC VICTOR opened their accounts with last-start maiden wins over 1400m. Both seem destined for bigger and better things, especially over this extended trip that will unlock improvement. The latter was impressive when winning on debut as a 2yo in KZN and it could pay to side with him on his Western Cape bow. Older rivals ARBITRATION, KING'S QUEST and last-start scorer MENTE ET MANU have the form and experience to acquit themselves competitively and they should keep the principals honest.

Selections:

#7 Gallic Victor, #1 United Front, #9 King's Quest, #3 Arbitration

Race 9
Race Summary:
Well-related CHANCE ENCOUNTER has been costly to follow but deserves another chance. He would have benefitted from his last start over track and trip - his first as a gelding - and won't need to improve much to open his account. DIOGENES and WORLD FIRST are closely matched and should not be far off on these revised weight terms. LOMU and MAN OF CONSEQUENCE have also shown enough to be competitive. Filly GREEK HEIRESS is well drawn and weighted to make her presence felt too.

Selections:

#10 Chance Encounter, #7 Diogenes, #5 Lomu, #2 Greek Heiress
