Race 1

Race Summary: WINDS OF GRACE was a disappointing beaten odds-on favourite last time but there were excuses for her performance so she could be worth another chance, especially from gate No 1 and over a course and distance she has twice finished 2nd. DUCHESS OF PALOMA, STONE OF SCONE, DELAWARE RIVER, and LADY BLUNT have the form and experience to acquit themselves competitively. However, a bigger threat will likely come from returning TOP SHELF TEDDY who is open to further improvement on her reappearance.

Selections:
#1 Winds Of Grace, #9 Top Shelf Teddy, #4 Stone Of Scone, #8 Spiranac

Race 2

Race Summary: GONNA CATCH YOU and TASKMASTER were well backed on debut but didn't live up to expectations. Both were subsequently gelded and are open to improvement on their reappearances. WINCHESTER has improved in 2 starts with headgear fitted and will likely play a leading role with a repeat of either performance. KORCULA improved stepping up to 1200m and should make her presence felt with this extended trip likely to unlock further progress. ROYALE JACKET has earning potential too.

Selections:
#3 Winchester, #9 Taskmaster, #8 Gonna Catch You, #10 Korcula

Race 3

Race Summary: EUPHRATES finished a career-best 4th last time (first start as a gelding) and should play a leading role with a repeat of that performance. ITSNOWORNEVER filled the runners-up berth over 1500m and the extra 300m could be more to his liking. NOTHING COMPARES fits a similar profile and she benefits from her rider's 4kg apprentice allowance. GREEN MACHINE and TEXAS MISSILE are well-bred 3yo colts open to any amount of improvement over this distance after satisfactory introductions over 1450m. Both will know more about it with that experience under the belt.

Selections:
#6 Green Machine, #9 Texas Missile, #1 Euphrates, #10 Nothing Compares

Race 4

Race Summary: Stablemates IT'S PERSONAL and SUPER AWESOME are in good form and should be competitive, though riding arrangements suggest the former is preferred. HEMISPHERE has the means to fight for victory, as does class-dropper RED PENNY off a reduced mark with 1.5kg off his back. A return to this distance should also suit PALACE REVOLT and JUNIPER GREEN.

Selections:
#1 It's Personal, #2 Hemisphere, #5 Red Penny, #7 Juniper Green

Race 5

Race Summary: MATCHA MINT wasn't winning out of turn when running out a wide-margin winner of a course-and-distance maiden on her 3yo debut, and that form has been franked by 2 subsequent scorers. She also remains open further improvement so it should pay to follow her progress on her handicap debut. Older male rivals DYLAN'S CHAMP and JOHNNY DRAMA have the form and experience to challenge the selection, with SHEETS AND GOGGLES and BLOOMINGTON appealing most of the remainder.

Selections:
#6 Matcha Mint, #3 Dylan's Champ, #4 Johnny Drama, #1 Bloomington

Race 6

Race Summary: COCOMELON didn't go unnoticed when finishing 6th (not beaten far) over 1600m on her return from a rest. She would have tightened up since and this extended trip should be more to her liking. Consistent older rivals TEO TORRIATTE and UNITED COUNCIL are closely matched on recent form and both have the means to threaten the selection. SOLDIER'S EYE and last-start winner KISSING MACHINE go the trip for the first time but can't be taken lightly. Progressive LAVA LAMP will be tested at this level but she remains open to improvement.

Selections:
#2 Cocomelon, #4 Teo Torriatte, #1 United Council, #8 Kissing Machine

Race 7

Race Summary: CHRONICLE KING and KING HARALD placed at Grade 1 level at the end of promising 2yo campaigns. Both have scope to improve this term so must be respected on their 3yo reappearances. ECHO CHECK also has scope for progress and he could improve sufficiently to remain unbeaten. GOT THE FEELING should have more to offer stepping up to this distance. Recently gelded COPPER EAGLE, debut winner TRUST and 3yo filly ALTA CAPITANA aren't underestimated.

Selections:
#3 Echo Check, #8 Trust, #2 Chronicle King, #6 King Harald

Race 8

Race Summary: PENNSYLVANIA has bounced back to form over this trip and a repeat of his last-start 2nd at a higher level over this course and distance should suffice. Last-start winner ROAMING SPIRIT remains competitive for top honours, despite a 5-point penalty. SILVER TUDOR, PASSAGE OF POWER and FULLY LOADED, as well as versatile PLUS FOUR, are also capable hard-knockers with the means to have a say in the outcome.

Selections:
#4 Pennsylvania, #2 Silver Tudor, #6 Roaming Spirit, #5 Passage Of Power

Race 9

Race Summary: PHALA MILLIONS carries a 2-point penalty for finishing a close-up 2nd in a similar contest over 1100m last time but will be right in the firing line again if repeating that performance off this mark. Both PRINCESS LOLA and CAPTAIN EFFICIENT are held on that form but weighted to pose more of a threat. ACROSS THE BOW, PACIFIC and SAHARA DAWN should make their presence felt too if confirming the improvement of recent starts. Class-droppers NAZARE and BEAMONESQUE are respected at this level.

Selections:
#3 Phala Millions, #5 Princess Lola, #1 Beamonesque, #10 Sahara Dawn

Best Win: #6 MATCHA MINT
Best Value Bet: #2 COCOMELON
Best Longshot: #2 COCOMELON
