Race Summary: FANTASY GIRL does not always show her best side. If allowed to stride she may make all in a race like this. SERENDIPITOUS did finish ahead of that rival last time and should fight out the finish once again. AND ACTION has been a disappointment in that he has yet to win a race but his last run with blinkers is best ignored. He can contest the finish. NEWTON HEATH should be in the final shake-up but usually finds a few better on the day. BRIGHT FUTURE is well drawn and gets blinkers this time so could be the surprise package. WORLD SOPRANO makes his local debut after a change of trainers and could improve.

Race Summary: MR BELVEDERE is a long-time battling maiden. He has, however, not been beaten far in his recent runs. He tries the Polytrack after a change of trainer and could score. AMERICAN PITBULL was seen to be doing good progress at the finish last week and should fight it out once again. AXIS POWER found a lot of betting support on debut so could make vast improvement trying the Polytrack. CHALICE FORT is yet another that tries this surface after a change of trainer. HAT HOT HAT and EXTRACTION are in good form and could earn some more money.

Race 3
Race Summary: JOY AND PEACE is the class act of the race. She is well weighted and should win but is clearly at her very best over further. RED SASH has shown good form on the Polytrack and can contest the finish yet again. SPRING IN HEAVEN was unreliable in Gauteng but could improve after a change of trainer and trying the Polytrack this time. AS FATE HAS IT has been very reliable of late and is not out of it. Stable companion GIDEON'S DAUGHTER, LADY SILVANO and BACK FOR MORE are all capable of running well over this course and distance after disappointing last runs.

Race 4
Race Summary: A tough race for exotic players and we may need to load up in the Pick 6. FOUR JACKS is threatening to win but has to prove himself on the Polytrack. GOLD GUNNER is improving and is proven on this surface. MEETATTHEWINDSOR is in good form and could contest the finish. Stable companion JACK IN THE GREEN sometimes get caught out of his ground early in the race but would not be a surprise winner. MORNING CHESS is better than his last run would suggest but is badly drawn. UNION ROSE is in good form and is not out of it. REACH FORTHE STARS is unreliable but can earn some money.

Race 5
Race Summary: Another very competitive handicap. PUFF OF SMOKE may have just needed the local debut last week and could be ready to score. BOSNAY is improving and her trainer is in good form. SEPTEMBER FLOWER looks capable of winning a race like this. HANGING ROCK is very hard to trust but does have ability and could surprise. JAMBO SANA is at the top of her game and would not be a surprise winner. BRETTY, ICE CAP and DE JANEIRO have all done reasonably well lately that suggests they could get involved with the finish as well.

Race Summary: MONTELENA has been very consistent without winning of late. She was very unlucky not to win her penultimate start and is weighted to win this. Stable companion DONNY TEE is knocking hard at the door and will give them something to run down. ARTICUNO is holding form well and the Richard Fourie-Alan Greeff combination will be hoping to shrug off last week's disappointments. SILVONIAN seems capable of better than what he's been showing of late and could surprise if in the right frame of mind.

Race 7
Race Summary: THREE ROCKS has been a bit of a disappointment of late but has won twice in just three starts on the Polytrack so does look the one to beat. PARIS LASS has beaten that rival twice and once was over this course and distance, so she does deserve the utmost respect. EVIES FIRST has been running well in good fields and can contest he finish. SLIM JANNIE is effective over this particular course and distance and is not out of it. LEDELL'S ECHO is very speedy and front-runners have had a splendid time of things lately on this surface.

Race 8
Race Summary: The last race is as usual a very tough handicap for exotic players. ARTURO does look a difficult ride but it seems Richard Fourie does get the best out of him and he can bounce back to score after a modest last run. NOTORIX and MY AMI BEACH are both in good form but have tough draws. HOLOCENE is well drawn and has a winning chance. PURPLE OPERATOR is well drawn and should go close to winning. RAVILIOUS, NO GREATER LOVE, LUCKY SPIRIT and CHARLIE MALONE can all be added to large Pick 6 permutations.
