Race 1
Race Summary: REAL WAR has run some decent races and was beaten a neck last time so should open his account shortly. He should go the distance but a wide draw will make it tough. FORTUNE HUNTER ran a fair race on debut after being hampered at the jump. He should go further but must have fair claims from draw No 1. VENCEDOR ran a much better race last time and the form line has worked out well. He too must not be taken lightly from a plum gate. GREEN MILE could be the dark horse. He should have shown some potential and may be looking for the distance. More can earn.

Selections:
#12 Real War, #1 Fortune Hunter, #2 Vencedor, #6 Green Mile

Race 2
Race Summary: Another competitive event. WHO BLINKED showed good pace before tiring in the closing stages over 1200m on debut. The 1000m then could be just what he needs. There are first-timers in the hunt and MAJOR TOMMIE could be the one to watch. He is by impressive stallion One World and jumps from gate No 1. It will be no surprise to see FUTURE FLO suddenly come up and finally get the job done even if having drawn widest. He has run many good races and would be deserving. KOLA TONIC has also disappointed but along with GLAMORZ and a few others could suddenly come up trumps.

Selections:
#5 Who Blinked, #1 Major Tommie, #12 Future Flo, #9 Kola Tonic

Race 3
Race Summary: Many young improving sorts try the distance and it looks an exciting contest. PULL A FAST ONE showed she was looking for the distance when staying on in second last time. She should prefer the turf but has drawn wide. SWEET REUNION could take advantage from a decent barrier. She shows pace and should enjoy the track. ARCTIC FURY could be the dark horse. She ran a fair race on debut and on pedigree could settle over the longer distance. HODGEPODGE may be out of a mare by Var but she is by Ideal World and can build on her form over the extra. More with claims.

Selections:
#5 Hodgepodge, #11 Pull A Fast One, #2 Sweet Reunion, #3 Arctic Fury

Race 4
Race Summary: Trainer Dean Kannemayer holds a strong hand with his duo. SPELLING BEE is one from one over the course and distance. He has run two good races in a row and should have every chance. Stablemate FRENCH FLAME showed a bit of class again from a wide draw last time and should get better as he matures. NOBLE CITY hasn't been too convincing but is best weighted having run with some of the best around. JOHNNY THE THIEF seems capable of upsetting.

Selections:
#2 Spelling Bee, #5 French Flame, #9 Noble City, #3 Johnny The Thief

Race 5
Race Summary: NATYAM misbehaved and was too far back last time. He nevertheless finished a decent third and if in a better mood could get his nose back in front. VIHAAN'S BOMB was impressive in stayers' races last season and could be even better this season. The one to watch. KYOMAI looked dangerous when finishing ahead of NATYAM and could get back to winning ways if confirming. BLACKBERRY MALT has been trying hard as well.

Selections:
#3 Natyam, #6 Vihaan's Bomb, #8 Kyomai, #7 Blackberry Malt

Race 6
Race Summary: Highveld filly SHE'S A BOMBER won her debut in good style and could be anything. She is racing after a rest and tries the track but could make a decent debut for her new yard. ARVERNIAN GODDESS didn't give in over this distance on the poly. She is ultra-consistent and is the one to catch from stall No 1. PRINCESS PALACE is another three-year-old who could be on the up. She was well supported and got the job done but will need to make more improvement. PRETTY ANALIA must surely get rewarded one of the days as she has run many a fair race without winning.

Selections:
#6 She's A Bomber, #1 Avernian Goddess, #3 Princess Palace, #9 Pretty Analia

Race 7
Race Summary: TWENTY ONE MAY may have finished unplaced last time but he ran in a strong race and it wasn't a bad effort. He has drawn well and should improve. BOOM SHAKALAKA could be anything after an impressive maiden win. He has drawn in gate No 1 and can improve further. GORGEOUS GUY ran a cracker behind up-and-coming Bourbon Warrior and if repeats could get back against the younger brigade. JET LEGACY may have needed his last start. He won a nice race prior and could get back to best. MASTER JOSH, USA'S HOPE and ENSUING are all fair older horses that demand respect.

Selections:
#2 Twenty One May, #1 Boom Shakalaka, #4 Gorgeous Guy, #5 Jet Legacy

Race 8
Race Summary: TARA STAR picked up from where she left off before a rest. She was a cracking second and having won at this track should have every chance from draw No 3. ICY LANCASTER looked a bit unlucky not get into the fight for honours last time but along with MILLION VOICES and a few others will need luck from a wide gate. MILLION VOICES made a fair comeback and must improve. MISS LADYATERIX has room for improvement as well.

Selections:
#3 Tara Star, #11 Icy Lancaster, #10 Million Voices, #4 Miss Ladyaterix

Best Win: #3 TARA STAR
Best Value Bet: #5 HODGEPODGE
Best Longshot: #5 HODGEPODGE
