Race Summary: A weak race and anything is possible. EXTRACTION returned to form with a good run last time out and is the one to beat on official handicap ratings. DANCING IN WINTER ran well on debut but is returning from a lengthy break. WAR SWORD is improving and can contest the finish again. PONTE VECCHIO is better than her last run would suggest and could fight out the finish. ALLEY OF FACT can show vast improvement on local debut. FIRST LORD and LUCKY SPIRIT are capable of improvement.

Race 2
Race Summary: FOUR JACKS has only won once in 12 starts but his trainer, Justin Snaith, has been deadly in his recent raids to this track and may well have another winner up his sleeve. SUN SPECTACULAR likes the grass but is drawn very badly. ANATOLIAN SILVER showed improvement last time and could run into a place. TO THE HILT has scope for improvement and could be a threat in this line-up. MY AMI BEACH does not always show her best but is capable of earning some money. ARTURO is in good form and is not out of it. LADY LUCK and PISCES are two others to consider.

Race 3
Race Summary: MY BEST SHOT had a number of these runners behind him on 26 July and there does not appear any real reason why he cannot beat those runners again. Stable companion MISTER SPEAKER ran on strongly that day but was a disappointment last time out. He can do much better this time. FAMILY LAW was ahead of MISTER SPEAKER last time and should be fitter now so has a winning chance. GOLDEN LINK was a disappointment on the Polytrack last time but has a place chance. PLAY ACT is consistent and can contest the finish. SAKURAJIMA flopped last time but is capable of improvement.

Race 4
Race Summary: A competitive-looking race and it may pay to go very wide in the Pick 6. NOTHINGELSEMATTERS has not won for some time but is in good form and should fight out the finish. HAWK CIRCLE returns from a break but would not be a surprise winner over a track and distance that suits. GOLD GUNNER has improved with blinkers and needs to be included in all bets. SAND BANK is holding form and demands respect. ARABIAN RED is not an easy ride but does have a winning chance. UNION ROSE was unlucky not to win last time out and is another to consider.

Race 5
Race Summary: SPLICETHEMAINBRACE remains unbeaten in 5 starts. Some of those wins were by the narrowest of margins but she continues to impress. She drops back to 1000m and takes on some hard-knockers in her first handicap but is clearly the one to beat. FOREST SPY has been very consistent of late and deserves respect once again. SIBERIAN STEEL tends to run on late when the race is all but over and can do so again. GREAT MELODY is very speedy and will give the others something to chase down. ANUSCHKA'S WORLD reminded us what she is capable of with a good run last time out. CAPTAIN TIK TOK is consistent and can make the frame.

Race 6
Race Summary: Trainer Justin Snaith sends consistent PACAYA for this feature race and he could pull it off. A wide draw will not make it easy for jockey Muzi Yeni. More was expected of FAIRY KNIGHT in the East Cape Derby, but he was easily beaten by filly JOY AND PEACE. Jockey Richard Fourie has stuck with FAIRY KNIGHT for this race. CHERRY ANO is consistent and can earn some more money. ZATARA MAGIC is in good form but may be better over further. PYROMANIAC and STREET ART make their local debuts and could be surprise packages.

Race Summary: THREE ROCKS is at her very best over this particular course and distance and has a record of three wins in four starts. Jockey Richard Fourie also has a very good record with her and will get the best out of her. Stable companion MISS GREENLIGHT did not run well on the Polytrack last time out but had good form before that and should be a threat. GOCEKWITHLOVE is consistent and has a place chance. GOLDEN PACIFIC, PASSCHENDAELE and MYTHICAL DREAM are all capable of getting involved with the finish.

Race Summary: The usual last race very open handicap. FREE WORLD is improving and was backed to win her latest start. She disappointed that day but could make amends if taking this race. COLD TRUTH is consistent and can contest the finish yet again. RAIN BIRD and QUEEN OF JAZZ are coming off easy maiden victories and could have more to offer. BLUE PALACE and MAGICAL RIVER have not been at best of late but are capable of running well when in the mood. BYTHELITEOFTHEMOON and KOMESANS PASSION are the two most likely to start favourite and deserve respect
