Race Summary: A very weak race. PONTE VECCHIO is carded to run on Friday and that run needs to be looked at but if he appears for this race he does look the one to beat. TARTAN QUEEN put in a dismal effort but can bounce back and earn some money. BEST INTENTIONS has been very disappointing of late but has an obvious winning chance in this race. TUNE AGAIN is also carded to have run on Friday and is not out of it on best form. SIERRA SKY makes a local debut after some poor runs but could improve. ROYAL VENUS is capable of contesting the finish.

Race 2
Race Summary: GUARDING THE WALL has run well in both his starts at this centre and should make a bold bid at beating these rivals. WINNING CAPTAIN is improving and can contest the finish. BENNELONG POINT is clearly unreliable but is not out of it. Stable companion JAMBO SANA showed improvement last time out and could have more to offer this time. ABSOLU NOIR is holding form and deserves some respect.

Race Summary: WAR LAUNCH is knocking hard at the door and was seen to be making late progress last time out. He can go one better this time. MR BODACIOUS only tired late last time out and will always be a threat. CRUZADOR stopped late last time out but one of these days he will keep rolling. KNOCKEMSTIFF ran well on local debut and has a winning chance. GREAT TIMES is battling to win but is also capable of getting involved with the finish.

Race 4
Race Summary: A difficult 1st leg of the Pick 6. SON OF ERUPT makes his local debut and it would not be a surprise if he proves too good for these rivals. The same could also be said of rival CHILLI CHACHA. BRYDEN BAY showed improvement last time out and can fight out the finish again. SMART VIEW ran his best race so far last time out and could do even better this time around. ELUSIVE HUNTER is holding form and could make the frame.

Race 5
Race Summary: A very open-looking race and we may need to load the exotics in this leg. SEASIDE TRIP was not beaten far last time and could pop up and score. DAWN OF GOLD bounced back to score last time out but will need to overcome a penalty for that win. LA PEQUENITA and MY TRUE LOVE are recent maiden winners but are not out of it. EAT PREY LOVE flopped in some better races than this recently but does have Richard Fourie in the irons so could score. FLOWER FESTIVAL won a nice race last time out and could follow up. COLORAMA is better than her last run and is capable of an upset.

Race 6
Race Summary: MR MOLONY has not won for some time but has run some decent races all year and could win on local debut. BREEDE BABY disappointed last time out but will have blinkers this time and she would not be a surprise winner. TURNTHEBEATAROUND is better than her last run would suggest and could be the surprise package of the race. MALDANO is unreliable but is also not out of it. HUGSANDHIGHFIVES seems to like this surface and should be involved with the finish once again.

Race 7
Race Summary: An interesting race. BELLE'S FIRST WAVE struggled a long time before getting out of the maiden ranks. He has, however, put in a decent run last time out and could score. WALT WHITMAN took a shot at a feature last time out and failed but he has scope for improvement and it would not be a surprise if he bounced back and beat these rivals. KANIMAMBO is holding form well and has no issues with this track and trip. MAGNUM FIRE takes a drop in class so could surprise. WOLFRAM likes the Polytrack and could contest the finish.

Race Summary: Another race to go wide in the Pick 6. TAKE A MULLIGAN is better on the turf but he did put in a good effort last week on this surface and can go one better this time. HE'S A GAUL is not reliable but can contest the finish if in the mood. GLOBAL REEF has run some good races in Gauteng but does try the Polytrack for the first time. SUNDROP is consistent and has a winning chance. ACCUMULATE showed improvement last time out and has a winning chance.
