Race Summary: While there are first-timers with decent draws, it could pay to follow THE MASK who made his debut in a feature in the Western Cape. He didn't show much but has been gelded and has drawn well. BOUND BY DESTINY has a decent pedigree and jumps from stall one on debut. He needs to be respected. Another debutant MOVE TO PROVE is by exciting stallion One World out of a Dynasty-mare and could attract betting support. ALWAYS SHINING and GENERAL BYNG ran decent races in their respective last starts and must be included in exotic bets.

Race Summary: PELARGONIUM has drawn widest but on collateral form should pose a big threat to WAR EMPRESS and VISION TO ACHIEVE at the weights. She had excuses in her last start and is better than her record of just 1 win from 10 tries on this surface. VISION TO ACHIEVE has gate one and Richard Fourie up. She was a bit unlucky at Hollywoodbets Scottsville and back on the poly could add to her tally. HOT PEARL showed good pace in her last start and rates the dark horse as she seems capable of better. RAPID FIRE is another that has more successes to come.

Race Summary: CANFORD QUEEN overcame a wide draw and only found one better last time. The run signalled good improvement and she looks well placed for a win. FLORAL FANTASY's last run on the turf is best ignored. She wasn't far off CANFORD QUEEN on the poly when making good improvement and if bouncing back to best could be dangerous. NTOMBENHLE has run two good races in a row. She could improve rapidly on her previous form on this track from a decent draw. CITY LIGHTS could be suited but has a wide draw to overcome.

Race 4
Race Summary: FUTURE OF ENERGY disappointed recently but the last time he ran well was when jumping from a good gate. He has drawn pole position and must improve back on his best surface. TOM'S ACT battled to get a clear run last time. When the door finally opened he finished well but his run came too late. He could get better luck this time. FINE ADMIRAL followed up a fluent win with a fair third behind specialist Circle Of Grace. SAN MARZANO hasn't been too far off. He may get closer over the longer trip. FIREFLARE will need the race run to suit from the widest gate.

Race 5
Race Summary: LUCKY DOLLAR looks a much better horse since the headgear was removed. He won well last time and may just see out the longer trip but he has yet to win on the poly. CUPID'S SONG loves the track. He won his last two tries on the surface over different distances. From a decent draw he should improve tremendously. TEICHMAN is knocking hard at the door again. He has also been blessed with a decent draw and should be in the fight. After these it is open. ACTION STATIONS carries a light weight and could be the best value option. TEATIME TIPPLE and BOM BOM have claims as well.

Race Summary: MASK ON ran no kind of race last time. He is patently better than that effort. He has Richard Fourie up from gate one and if back to best could mow this field down. The filly RUGGER LOVER has been improving with each start of late. She will need to overcome a slightly wide draw against the boys and it won't be easy. CHARA SANDS has had no luck going close without winning his last two. He has drawn widest but nevertheless must be taken seriously. COTTON RON has a bit to find for his first poly win but has drawn well and could earn. GRANDDADDY PURPLE could be the dark horse.

Race Summary: POURSOMESUGARONME rates the form choice. She has been in good form and could notch up win number three having drawn best. The only worry is that she is dropping in distance. EMERALD GREEN ran a cracker in her first start out of maiden company. She has also run well on the poly and could be a big threat if overcoming her draw. PERFECT TRUST shows good pace and could turn the form around with BLUSH OF DAWN who beat her over further last time. ANGELIC FORT ran well enough to suggest her next win can't be far off.

Race Summary: Highveld raider CERULEAN DANCER may be coming into the race in the right kind of form. She travels well upfront on the Highveld and can finally score on the poly. POPPY OF BAYEUX is taking her time getting that next win. She didn't get the best of starts last time and that run is best ignored. KITTEN'S ADVENTURE disappointed over further last time. She is capable of mounting a serious challenge. QUENTASIA improved last time and has run well over shorter so could appreciate this distance. CHELSEA FLOWER and PUFF OF SMOKE have wide draws to overcome.
