Race Summary: A weak race. HEAD GIRL is threatening to win and this race may well be it. She is proven on this surface and can go one better on her latest run. VATHOMVLAFFIE lacks a strong finish but could play a minor role this distance. SWEET JULIA was a bitter disappointment last week but ran well over this track and trip in her penultimate start and should fight out the finish. ANGEL WINGS tries the Polytrack and could improve. TOGETHER AGAIN and EMERALD GREEN are not reliable but are also not out if it.

Race Summary: A maiden handicap and not too many can safely be ruled out from winning. PLAY WITH FIRE has been very consistent of late and deserves a win. SACRED LILY was not disgraced when fourth last time out and has a place chance. FLORAL FANTASY showed improvement last time out and could have more to offer. JOAN THE WAD tries blinkers and could go close. LADY IS A CHAMP, VALLI GAL and CANFORD QUEEN can all get involved with luck in running.

Race 3
Race Summary: Not a big field but a tough race. SYX HOTFIX is course and distance suited and was not disgraced when fourth and trying the blinkers last time out. STRAIGHT UP does not always show his very best but does like this course and trip. PIRATE PRINCE could have needed both recent runs and can surprise. MADISON VALLEY could be improving so deserves the utmost respect. IBUTHO did not show his best after winning well in his penultimate start. EL REY VIENE, AFRICAN DUSK and FEW DOLLARS MORE have all done enough of late to hold a winning hope.

Race 4
Race Summary: WYATT'S CHOICE made good late progress last time out. This is his first taste of the Polytrack but he has scope and could be ahead of the handicapper. FINE ADMIRAL quickened best to win well last time out but carries a penalty for that win. LUCRETIUS put in an improved performance last time out and deserves some respect for that run. CIRCLE OF GRACE is never too far behind at the line and is not out of it. RICCARDO seems better than his last run and can bounce back and be a threat.

Race 5
Race Summary: Another competitive handicap. PASCALI is in good form and is proven on this surface so gets a narrow vote to score. CUPID'S SONG has won two of his last three starts and could get the run of the race from a good draw. RODRIGUEZ is holding form and can contest the finish once again. CATCH THE TUNE and MIDNIGHT CALLER have not been beaten far in recent runs and can earn some more money. FUTURE OF ENERGY is not well drawn but has improved of late and can contest the finish once again.

Race Summary: Trainer Fanie Bronkhorst has had things tougher this season but his charge GILDA GRAY has run well on this surface before and can pop up in a very open looking handicap. SPRING KISS was a heavily backed winner of her latest start and can have more to offer. OH SO SQUISHY has become very unreliable but did run well on the turf last time out. ENGLISH PRIMROSE has some fair recent form and could earn some money. PRETTY ANALIA comes from a hot yard and is in good form so cannot be left out. ROY'S ROCKER sits as an emergency acceptor at present but is not out of it if getting a run.

Race Summary: WYZEACT has been disappointing of late but tries the Polytrack and could like this course and distance. RALPH THE RASCAL likes this course and distance and will be a lively danger. MORGAN LA FAY is in good form and deserves respect. SLEEK AS SILK, MR MASTER STARTER and DIANI are all in fair form and capable of winning. PROUD MASTER was good on this surface last year and is capable of an upset.

Race Summary: PURPLE OPERATOR has not won for more than a year but is in good form and is right at home over this track and trip. DANCING DORA showed improvement last time out and is not out of it. GOLDEN ASPEN is fairly consistent and can fight out the finish this distance. BIG SLICK has been close up in his last two starts and deserves respect. MCCARTNEY, PHAKA IMALI and KNIGHT WARRIOR are all useful performers on this surface and are capable of winning.
