J Mallyon, 33, reenters the Malaysian racing circuit with renewed focus and international experience. Known for his lightweight riding capability (listed at 53kg), Mallyon's comeback adds valuable depth to the Club's jockey pool. His presence reflects STC's commitment to attracting seasoned global talent. His return follows similar moves by international riders such as Joe Kamaruddin, underscoring the Club's strategic emphasis on diversity and excellence.

Benny Woodworth, 51, rejoins the ranks after a one-year hiatus, having previously announced his retirement in 2024. His farewell tour culminated in a triumphant performance at the People's Turf PLC International Jockeys' Week-End in Mauritius, where he clinched the individual title and helped secure the team victory for Malaysia. With multiple championship titles across Malaysia, Singapore, and Mauritius, Woodworth's return is expected to inspire a new generation of riders and elevate the competitive spirit on local tracks.

"We are thrilled to welcome back both J Mallyon and Benny Woodworth," said a Club spokesperson. "Their experience, professionalism, and passion for racing will be invaluable assets to our racing calendar and to the broader racing community."
