Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1000M) Special Weight A / KRW 45 Million

Juvenile maidens with all but one racing for the first time. (4) HOT FEVER took two goes to qualify but looked good when doing so on October 16th, showing on pace and running a close 3rd in a quick time. If she brings that form to the races, she'll be close. (9) STEEL MORE also raced close to the front in her trial, ultimately finishing in 2nd and beating a couple of today's rivals. She can be on pace here too and be a threat. The only one to have raced before is (7) DANAEUN RUBY and while she only managed to beat one home on debut, she previously trialed well and can have a fitness edge on her rivals here. (6) COWBOY SOCKS and (8) TIGER BULPAE are others who ran good times in trials and can go well first up.

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(2) GEOSEN DOLGYEOK has a 4th and a 3rd from two starts so far, most recently on September 28th at this distance when handy throughout and posting a time significantly quicker than any of today's rivals have managed for the 1200M. He draws well to be handy again and he is the one to beat. (9) FLASH RAY took plenty of trials to get to the races but was a solid 3rd on debut over 1200M on October 3rd and he can build on that here. There are three debut makers and of them (8) HAKSAN TAEPUNG looks the more likely to make an immediate impact. He was a trial winner in September in a quick time and bringing that form to the races will mean he goes close. (6) PLAY STAY was ordinary on debut but has since looked much better in a trial. (10) RAON EXTREME looked ok in the second of two trials.

Seoul Race 3: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(6) SANGIM YEONGUNG debuted over 1300M on October 4th and ran a solid 3rd, overcoming a slow start to run on and beat a couple of today's rivals. He should have come on for that run, the additional half-furlong can suit, and he can win here. (7) SAENAE FIGHTER was an also-ran in the Rookie Stakes but enters off a best to date 3rd place when stepped up to this trip on September 28th and ridden a bit further forward than in previous starts. Expect similar tactics here and he can be in the finish. (9) CHAMPION SOCKS has made good progress across four starts so far, culminating in a 2nd place on September 20th when stepping up to this distance and leading. He has a wider gate this time but can be in this a long way again. (5) ROAD TO STAR and (11) SUBMISSION other place chances.

Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

Fillies (and one mare) only here. (5) UNICA was a winner on debut over 1000M in August, coming from well off the pace, before running a very solid 3rd behind Mujehan Geup and Wonpyeong Sket, currently considered the second and third best juveniles at Seoul, in the Listed Munhwa Ilbo Trophy in September. She comes in fresh after seven weeks out and back in shallower waters, she will be a hot favourite to win. (6) GWANAKSAN WONDERFUL was a close 2nd at this class and distance on September 21st. She has won at this trip and she shapes as the main danger. (9) SECRET WOLF comes up in class following an all the way win at this distance last time out. That was back at the end of July so she comes in fresh, and she is down in weight. (11) THUNDER YEOGEOL and (10) POETIC NUBI others in line for the minors.

Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1700M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(10) DANGDAECHOWOL was 2nd at this class and distance on September 20th when settling midfield and finishing off well with a couple of today's rivals behind him. He comes in under almost the same weight, he draws exactly the same gate, and he can finally make his breakthrough at the twelfth time of asking. (3) GROW has two wins but no fewer than fifteen finishes between 3rd and 4th. The include her latest, both at this class and both at 1800M and she should be there or thereabouts again. (9) BEAUTIFUL HWASEONG was a class and distance winner two starts back before beating a few of these on his way to 3rd place on October 4th. An apprentice keeps his weight light, and he can be in the mix (8) GRATITUDE and (6) HAKSAN DAESE other place chances.

Seoul Race 6: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

It's hard to go far past (1) PERFECT DANAEUN here. He has won his latest two, most recently with a front-running effort at this class and distance on September 14th. He is up 3kg in weight, but that's balanced somewhat by the inside gate, and he can complete his hat-trick here. (6) SEMYEONG STRONG has been getting closer again in his recent starts, most recently when 3rd at this class over 1200M on October 3rd. Ruan Maia stays on and he can be a danger. (4) JILPUNGA and (3) ALIFER both come up in class having recorded their maiden wins in their respective latest starts and drawn well, both can measure up in this company. (2) J ONE POWER is another in the placing hunt.

Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(4) VINCERO CUE won back-to-back races at this distance in April and June before finishing 6th of eleven over 1400M on his first try at this class in August when he used up plenty of energy from the widest gate to find a forward position. He has had ten weeks off since then, he draws a much better gate and coming back to a distance at which he has two wins and a 2nd from three tries, he is the one to beat. (3) GEOSEN BIGMAN has two 4th places and a 2nd from his latest two and from a good draw he looks to be the main danger. (9) USEUNGHAL GYEOLSIM debuted all the way back in May and ran a solid 3rd – beating a couple of today's rivals. He hasn't raced since and he didn't offer too many clues in a trial, but he could be interesting first-up at an each-way price. (5) GLOBAL PHAROAH and (10) WONDERFUL A ONE others in the mix

Seoul Race 8: Class 4 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(2) NAMSAN BELT was a winner on debut over 1000M in August before running 3rd at 1200M on September 21st. She takes a big jump up in trip here but there is no reason she can't be equal to it and with a light weight and a nice gate, she can win. (8) LEGENDSUN was a class and distance winner at big odds on September 28th, racing on pace throughout. An apprentice jockey being booked means that he remains under a feather weight and he will probably start as the second favourite. (4) THEME TANSAENG enters having run a fair 5th at class and distance on September 21st and Ruan Maia staying on is a big bonus. (3) DAEBAK STAR and (9) BAKCHARA are others in the frame.

Seoul Race 9: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

Since winning at class 5 over this distance three starts back, (2) SPARTAN has run 4th in both tries at this class. He was drawn wide in both of those, so he comes into a much better gate today and Maia on is enough to put him firmly on top. (8) YESULIYA has been in the top three in each of his last five starts, most recently winning over this distance in a swift race back on September 13th. He likes to be on pace, so he is drawn a touch wider than ideal, but if he can find a forward position, he can be in the mix. (5) HWASANGWIHWAN doesn't win out of turn but was a solid 3rd at this class and distance on September 20th and while he comes up 4kh without an apprentice claim, Harry taking over is adequate compensation. (10) RAON THE KEISHA and (11) FINAL GO are the other ones who will be in the market.

Seoul Race 10: Class 3 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

(9) HANSEN BRACING has nine top four finishes from eleven starts and was a last start winner over this distance on September 20th when sitting handy and running on strongly. He is up in class here but is down 4kg in weight and given his current form, he has to go on top. (11) MIRACLE HANAM is a very interesting entrant. He debuted a winner in an almost track record setting back all the way back in July of 2024 but then didn't race again until April of this year when he didn't do much. He hasn't raced since but he did look good in a late September trial and while he can't be really trusted, he looks worth a speculative try. (5) AMAZON KING was a very quick winner at this distance two starts back before running 2nd on his first try at this class on September 21st and under an apprentice claim, he should be in this. (7) DANCING WHIZ and (2) LADY HANABI others in the placing frame.

Seoul Race 11: Class 2 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

(4) ECLIPSE THE KING was 3rd in the Korean Derby in May and after that won a class 3 over a mile in July. He led for much of the way around in the Listed Ilgan Sports Trophy on September 28th before finishing 3rd and in this company, he will be expected to win. (9) GANGNARU will probably be the second favourite. A four-time winner, he has been 2nd on each of his three last starts at a mile and at this distance, and he will be in the place mix again. So too should (8) ACE GUNJU. He has never raced at this particular distance, but he has a 3rd at 2000M two starts back and a 2nd at a mile last time so he should be in this. (6) JEOMSUNI GO and (5) JEONGWOO FOREVER are others to consider.
