Among the first timers (4) TOHAMSAN DRAGON was a front-running 2nd in his trial and from a good draw, he can be in this a long way. (1) DEIMOS and (10) MUJEOKYI are others who can improve from their respective debuts.

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(6) K ROYAL had eight months between his first and second starts but o his 3rd in June, he was 2nd over 1200M, well beaten by a good winner but showing improvement. The step up to 1400M can suit, and third-up he can be peaking fitness wise. (2) WORLD TAEYNAG is yet to finish in the top two after fourteen attempts, but she has run 3rd to 5th on six occasions. She has got a decent finish on her and in this company, she can be aiming for a best to date placing. (4) FAST QUEEN has a 2nd place to her name at this trip and hinted at a return to some kind of form when 4th last time out and she can be in the mix from off the pace here. (10) GRACE CAL and solitary debut maker (7) OASIS RUBY are others to look out for.

Seoul Race 3: Class 6 (1600M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(8) DOCTOR CHRIS went through plenty of trials, but it was worth the wait as he was a solid 2nd on debut over 1300M, overcoming a slow start to run on strongly. He should have come on for that run, the mile looks good for him, and he can win. (5) SEOBU GAMBLE was 5th in that same race following on from a 3rd place at the start before. He tackles the mile for the first time and is third-up this preparation. (6) CAPTAIN DRAGON races for the first time since finishing a fair 6th at this distance back in April, coincidentally with a couple of today's rivals behind him. He looked well when 3rd in a quick trial two weeks ago and can be a factor here. (7) REMENT and (4) SEATTLE DREAM are the other main contenders.

Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(1) BORYEONGJEOKTOMA is yet to win in fourteen attempts, but he has placed in three of his last four including last time out at this class over a mile. He draws well, Seo Seung-un climbs on for the first time, and today can be the day. (4) GOOD DADDY enters off back-to-back 3rd place finishes at this class and distance. He likes to race on-pace, and from an excellent draw can be the early leader and be in this a long way. He will need to overturn form on (8) SWORD WING who beat Good Daddy when the pair ran 2nd and 3rd at this class and distance on August 1st. He likes to settle right back and run on and he can be a danger again late. (5) BABEL DREAMY and (10) FLASH RUN among plenty of other place chances.

Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

Tricky one. (9) SWEET BELLE got her maiden win at start three over 1300M on August 1st when she led every step of the way. She won with plenty in hand so while this is more difficult as she is up in class, she is down in weight, and she can win again. (8) TRIPLE DREAM won at this class and distance on August 1st, racing handy throughout. She only comes up 1.5kg in weight and she can be a danger again. (11) NONPAREIL, the only two-year-old in the race, was a smart winner on debut over 1000M on August 9th, leading all the way. He is up in both class and distance, but he is down in weight, and while he does have the challenge of the widest gate, he has plenty of potential. (6) D'LOVELY KING and (3) CHOEGANG TRIPLE others firmly in the frame.

Seoul Race 6: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(6) GEUMA PRECEDE returned from almost a year off on July 6th to run 3rd at this class and distance, racing handy throughout. She should strip fitter for that one and she had loads of potential this time last year and she can show it here. It's been a while between drinks for (3) NAEPYEON but he enters off back-to-back 2nd places at this class and distance, most recently on August 9th when only very narrowly being denied. Seo Seung-un remains on and he could go one better. Somewhat absurdly, (11) SANGIM BOLT holds the track record for this distance, set when winning when the surface was running lightning fast on June 29th. We take that weekend's form with the proverbial pinch of salt, but he followed up with a stout 2nd on July 20th so he is not to be dismissed. (1) WORLD HIT and (10) TTANBONG QUEEN among plenty of other placing chances.

Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

Fillies and mares only here. (11) ACE HIGH has only finished outside of the top two on one occasion and that was in the Luna Stakes, the first leg of the Triple Tiara. Since then, she has back-to-back runner-up finishes at this class at a mile and at 1800M and while as a front-runner, she has the challenge of the widest gate, she should have too much for these. Second-favourite will be (3) THE NOMINATE. She has a 4th and a 3rd in two starts since being promoted to this class and from a good draw, she can be on pace and be a threat. Veteran (10) STELL LUNA was a solid class and distance 3rd last time out and with the same apprentice jockey keeping her weight light, she can be in the mix again. (2) TROUBLEMAKER and (4) WONDERFUL CUTIE are the other main chances.

Seoul Race 8: Class 3 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

(7) WONDAEHAN KKUM was a class and distance winner on July 18th, his first try over the 1800M, settling midfield and running on and beating plenty of today's rivals in the process. He comes up a full 4kg in weight, but his recent form has been consistently strong, and he is the one to beat again here. (10) DUSTIN MARINE had a hard time on his first try at this class over 1400M on August 1st, but he was a winner at this distance two starts back and under a light weight he could be a rare opportunity to get a Seo Seung-un ridden horse at an each-way price. (4) VICE ROYAL and (11) STORM FIGHTER came home 3rd and 5th respectively behind Wondaehan Kkum in that July 18th race and both can be factors here. (6) WORLD WINNER'S MAN another in the hunt.
