Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1000M) Special Weight A / KRW 45 Million

Eleven previously unraced juveniles. (8) AGAIN GOOD MAN was quickest in trials, finishing in 3rd place in his heat on July 10th showing on pace throughout. Expect similar tactics here and he will probably start as favourite. (11) GOOD MORNING COME came from off the pace to run a close 3rd in his heat. The wide draw shouldn't be a problem, and he can go well. (2) UNICA was 4th behind Good Morning Come, settling midfield and running on. His stable is in good form and he can keep that going here. Plenty of others hinted at ability in the morning with (7) LIGHT WING and (6) YEONGWONHAN STAR, who both finished 3rd in their respective trials, will be the other main ones in the market.

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(3) MANI NODAGI returned from almost six months out to run a much-improved 2nd over this distance on July 6th. He should strip fitter for that run and from a good gate, he can lead all the way here. (2) GAYA STAR similarly enters off a best to date runner-up finish over this distance on July 13th He is third-up this preparation so may be peaking fitness wise and can be a danger late. The rest of the form is patchy, so we'll give a chance to debut-maker (6) POWERFUL IMPACT. His trial wasn't quick, but he did make up so ground so the 1200M, as well as this limited set if opponents, may suit first up. (5) MUNHAK DANCE and (4) SPICE BAND others who can improve.

Busan Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(9) DOCTOR CENTUM has a 2nd and a 3rd from his two starts so far, both over 1000M. He finished off well both times so the step up in trip can suit and third-up he can be hard to beat. (6) GUREUM BIT didn't do much on debut in April but was significantly improved when 3rd at start number two over this distance on June 29th when she raced on pace. She can lead again here and be in things a long way. (3) SEINE GANG was only ordinary at start number two over 1300M in June but if we go on her debut 4th back in May at this distance, she can be in the mix in this company. (4) DAEBAK NANTA and (7) WIND SWORD are others who can improve.

Seoul Race 3: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

Fillies and mares only here. (3) SONEULNAEMILEO got her maiden win over this distance in March and has since run 3rd and 2nd in two tries at this class. She draws beautifully to get the lead here and she can make all the running. (2) TEUKGEUP PARTY is yet to finish outside of the top five and got her maiden win at 1300M in May. She too showed she can measure up at this level with a very narrow reverse when 2nd at 1300M on July 20th and, making a quick return here, she can be in the finish again. (11) LUCKY A ONE won at start two in May over this distance. She hasn't raced since but she has worked every day since July 18th and should have more to offer. (9) STUNNING PEARL, and the veteran (1) GROW, are other place chances.

Busan Race 2: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(2) WIND ROSE enters off a 2nd place last time out, albeit ten-lengths behind Stuka, over 1400M on June 27th when on pace. From a great draw, she can lead again and in the absence of any other standouts, she should go all the way. (3) BEOLMA WINNER ran twice last autumn, finishing 4th on both occasions. He returns for the first time since last October and having looked well in a July trial, can be competitive first up. (4) LIKE DRAGON was 5th behind Wind Rose in that June 27th race but two starts back ran 2nd at 1200M and cab be in the mix again. The form drops off precipitously after those three with (1) ULFBERHT and (9) SPEED BOY perhaps the best of a limited rest.

Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

Competitive race. (3) HIGH FOLLY comes back to the distance at which he has done his best work so far with a win and two 3rd places among five attempts. He likes to race on pace so is very nicely drawn and he has every chance here. (7) KYLIE got her maiden breakthrough at the eighteenth time of asking on July 13th when leading for most of the way at this class and distance. She is up 3kg in weight, but that win had been coming, and she could be so lucky again. (2) MG FIRST is yet to finish in the first two in nine attempts but has four 3rd place finishes including on his first try at this class. He comes in fresh after eight weeks off and is another who should be competing for the lead from the start. (5) PINE PINK and (9) EUNPA MUSIC other contenders for at least the minors.

Busan Race 3: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(6) WORLD TOP TIER ran 3rd on debut before getting her maiden win with a front-running effort over 1200M on June 29th. She comes up in class and in distance here but neither should be a problem and down in weight, she can win again. (4) HOLIDAY QUEEN got promoted to this class with a pair of runner-up finishes and ran a fair 5th on her first try at the level on July 4th. She steps up to 1400M for the first time with every chance of it suiting and she can be on pace and in this a long way. (9) ROAD TO HEUIMANG mixes his form but his close 2nd at this class over 1300M on July 4th suggests he can compete in this company. (2) FLYING RACE and (7) DOCTOR CURLIN are other place chances.

Seoul Race 5: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

Tricky one. We'll take a chance on (7) WESTERN GUN who, while he hasn't won since very first appearance, has come close, with two runner-up finishes from his last three. That actually brings him up in class here, but he comes down a full 5kg in weight, Moon Se-young stays on, and he has as good a chance as any. (3) EXCELLENT MATTA enters with recent form reading very well and was a close 2nd last time out at this class and distance. She continues under a light weight, and she will be on-pace, and surely in the finish. (9) TOUCH CHARM was a winner at this class and distance as recently as March and following a fair 4th last time out can offer some interest at an each-way price. (8) ORANGE TIME and (2) SMART MUSIC others firmly in the frame.

Busan Race 4: Class 4 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

It's fair to say that (4) BEST CHAMP doesn't win out of turn, but from twenty-two starts, he has no fewer than fifteen top five finishes. That includes his latest on June 29th when he beat several of today's rivals on his way to 2nd at this class and distance. He has his fair share of weight, but he looks ready to return to winning ways. (3) STAR PARK took a full twenty-six starts to get his maiden win which finally arrived on June 20th at a mile. That brings him up in class, but he can be competitive in this company. (2) WORLD POINT returns to action for the first time since last November. 1800M is a hard ask first up but he looked well enough in a June trial and had plenty of ability before the layoff. (5) CARIBBEAN BAY and (8) JILJU YEOLJEONG others to consider on a place line.

Seoul Race 6: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(5) MUSKET DAY really mixes his form but the good outweighs the bad and he is a winner at this class over 1800M. He has a win and a 3rd from two tries at 1400M and while he has his fair share of weight to carry, today can be one of his good days. (9) BLUE RACER was a winner at this class over 1300M on June 29th, settling back and running on. He comes up 2,5kg in weight and has the challenge of the widest gate, but he can be in the mix here and given the absence of any early speed can, like the favourite, be on pace. (7) NANOMETA has three placings over this distance and while he is yet to win in twenty attempts, he is rarely far away, and CC Wong aboard again is a plus. (6) WONDERFUL LORD won at class and distance last time out and shouldn't be dismissed, while (1) ANYANG CHEONDUNG is another with firm placing claims.

Busan Race 5: Class 1 (1200M) Special Weight B / KRW 110 Million

(9) CHOEGOUI KKUM had a hard time in the SBS Sports Sprint and SROA Chairman's Trophy races in April and May and hasn't raced since. He looked very well winning a trial two weeks ago and back under a light weight in handicap company, he can win first-up. (3) FANTASTIC KINGDOM also went in the SROA, finishing midfield. A six-time winner over this distance, today is also a much more suitable assignment for him. (2) BEOLGYOUI KKUM drops back to six furlongs for the first time in a while. Under today's conditions, he gets a big weight drop and can be on pace and in this a long way. (6) CHOEGANG SSONSAL and (4) DAEJI CHOICE other main chances.

Seoul Race 7: Class 3 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

(6) ECLIPSE HONOR was an also-ran in the Listed Sports Chosun at 2000M in May but ran ran a solid 3rd at this class and distance on June 21st. He has won already over the 1800M and he can win again here. (5) ÉCLAIR POWER is up in class having scored over 1700M on July 6th, coming from well off the pace. He is down 2kg in weight, CC stays on, and he has every chance of backing up. (1) YEONHUI HERO has won his latest two at 1300M and at a mile. That brings him rapidly up in class, as well as tackling two turns for the first time. He draws nicely to be on pace, Moon Se-young stays on, and he can measure up. (3) COLGIN and (2) PURGE KING others to consider on a place line. 

Seoul Race 8: Class 3 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

Young trainer Jung Ha-back has a great chance to get off the mark here with (11) GOLDEN DRAGON. The gelding was a winner over 1400M two starts back before running 2nd on his first try at this class on July 6th when settling just behind the speed and running on. He has placed twice at this distance and can win on his first outing for his new handler. (5) LALA K has run fairly in two starts back since his lengthy absence. Nicely in here, he can be peaking third-up and can go close. (10) MAGIC JUNIOR was a much-improved 2nd at big odds at class and distance on June 29th. Harry stays on and he warrants more respect here. (3) EXCELLENT TAN and (6) GEOLJAK DREAM others who can be in the finish.

Seoul Race 9: Class 2 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

(10) PEPPER X will be a warm favourite here. He comes up in class following win number three at start number nine on June 28th on what was his first try over a mile, when he raced on pace and scored comfortably. Gate ten isn't the easiest to deal with at the mile start but the is down 3.5kg in weight and Moon Se-young stays on. (8) HAENGBOKAN SEUNGJA and (1) FURIOSA came home 1st and 4th respectively when they raced one another at this class over 1400M on May 31st. Both appear for the first time since, and while both come in weight, they shape as the main dangers. (2) DREAM PLAY was a winner at this distance on June 22nd and while up in class, he is down 4.5kg in weight and can measure up. (7) KING HONOR, an up in class last start winner is another in the frame.
