Rail - B Course
Race 1
#2 SUPER SIXTY built a solid record last season notching up two wins and three minor placings from eleven starts. The Casper Fownes trained sprinter gave every indication he could win more races this season after chasing home the free running PARENTS' LOVE first up.He wont be capable of living up to the heights of 2010 Hong Derby winner SUPER SATIN, who made these particular colours famous, but he's a great chance of winning this due to the fact he exits from the low gate.
#1 LEAN MASTER won a contest similar to this assignment at the end of last season and he won it with a fair amount of style. The market fluctuations late in betting suggested he'd need the outing first up and that was precisely the case as he tired over the later stages. He's better equipped this time out with that hit-out under the belt and should therefore be in the fight for longer.|
#10 SAVVY TWINKLE ran an excellent race behind SUPER SIXTY over this course and distance in April and appears one of the main hopes. He's drawn out, so he'll need a touch of luck, but he won a trial comfortably here at Happy Valley over 1000m in September.Where Zac Purton positions him through the first 200m is vital, and no doubt a risk to his winning chance, but he's fit and ready to salute and therefore hard to pen.
#12 GOLDEN FRIENDSHIP possesses enough tactical speed to position himself within the first half dozen as they scamper through the opening 300m.He'll thereafter be in a striking position approaching the home bend and ready to pounce on the leaders when they swing.Interestingly, there's been good money around for him at both starts this preparation so he's worth including in your multiples and exotics.
#9 BEAUTY THUNDER shall strip fitter for two runs back and should position himself nicely up on speed. He's still yet to find his overseas career best form but has become well rated, in the interim, if he does.Furthermore, Alex Badel has been with him all season and the fact he remains in the saddle is an encouraging sign.

Race 7
#11 REWARD TWINKLE found a nice patch of form at then end of last season after transferring to the stable of Frankie Lor.He then ran a cracker first up at Sha Tin for jockey Mathew Chadwick where the pair hit the line with force. He won a trial in good fashion on the all weather track prior to the season beginning and has proven in the past he can deal with this tight turning track.
#8 SILVER SPURS displayed excellent barrier manners in his lead up trial at Conghua with jockey Ellis Wong aboard. The pair then got it done first upin class 5 over this course and trip before running bravely next start over 1200m.The drop back to 1000m creates another great opportunity to win with the inside barrier draw the defining advantage.
#1 GRAND NOVA found the line well here first up over the 1000m but the distance was a fraction short. He then over-raced badly through the first half when stepping up to the 1200m and consequently tired out the final stages. He trialled up well this horse leading into the opening races so I wouldn't pen him from the winning options just yet.
#2 ACE POWER won twice last season over the Happy Valley 1200m and should be included in the conversation. Both runs back this campaign have been typical of his style which is to settle back before push hard at the end.Finding trouble however is something he'sextremely capable of doing, conversely, when he does enjoy a clear and unimpeded approach, he normally wins.
#5 GAMEPLAYER ELITE is almost twenty points lower than his original arrival rating and a runner to carefully watch. He changed stables during the off-season break and returned with a solid closing performance first up.Where he exactly fits in is still to be determined but his overseas form in Brazil displays him undefeated.
