Saturday’s French banker of the day is an unexposed three-year-old…

Sea Poetry – (Owen Burrows/Maxime Guyon)
Fontainebleau – Race 6 - Grand Prix de Fontainebleau
· Unexposed filly
· Handles testing conditions
· Shrewd trainer
Owen Burrows is no stranger when it comes to enjoying successful French voyages and while not many would have expected him to be saddling Sea Poetry in Listed company earlier in the season, it's worth noting that he believes she's up to the task of being at least competitive.
The daughter of Wootton Bassett has seemingly progressed nicely in her last few starts and looked to relish the step up to a mile and a quarter when tearing through the muddy conditions to score in handicap company at Nottingham last time out.
Connections revealed earlier in the week that she would be staying out in France to continue her training career following this contest, so it's clear they feel the style of racing over the channel will suit, while the expected testing conditions at Fontainebleau will be right up her street.
An official rating of 86 leaves her with something to find on the figures but she's hugely unexposed over middle distances and the booking of Maxime Guyon catches the eye.
