On face value, 6 Pretty In Pink appeared a little disappointing last week when running third. Just didn't kick like most would have expected her too. They did run a quick last half so expect her to be a bit better suited here and at her best should really deliver another win.

Not a bad run in the career of 5 Mick Konstantin yet, he just keeps stepping out and running good races. Lands in another good opportunity tonight and with a good draw looks likely to try and roll forward early and be on the top end. That puts him well in commission.

Talented trotter 7 Belle Neige has put it all together in the last two runs and delivered two great victories. Well suited to the mobile conditions and in this line up tonight has a chance to balance early before working into it when suits and making it three in a row.

No surprise to see a strong victory by 1 Confederate last week after holding a forward position from the same draw as tonight. Not a whole lot harder either and if he can punch out and be near or on the speed then they'll need to be good to beat him.

TIP OF THE DAY
A little surprising to see 8 Redpark Warrior not open up favourite earlier in the week. Two big victories in two runs back from a spell and although a few more to handle here has had the measure of the grade largely up here in the north.

Did what she had to do to win in a fresh state a fortnight ago did 2 Princess Gracy but would expect a much stronger and more forward version to line up here tonight. Good draw to work from and should be able to hold a good position which makes her the horse to beat.

10 Shesgold
Not a lot has gone to plan for 10 Shesgold in the last few starts but that's a bit like her because she does need the right kind of run to be at her best. Has a potent turn of foot when saved up for one run and just needs to be close enough to pounce. Nice trip through from second line on offer will help.
