Alexandra Park Race 1
7 Amaretto Delight
After three seconds to open the career, Amaretto Delight finally broke through last time out and did it in style too. The most progressive horse in this field by a wee way, there's no reason why – given the potential that has been shown – that she can't make it back-to-back wins at her Alexandra Park debut.

Alexandra Park Race 2
1 River
One of two horses in the race from the Purdon Racing team, River gets a slight nod on the basis of a bit of race experience and the handy draw. Stablemate Georgie Best does look promising but will have to work at some stage to get into the race. Not much between them in a recent workout and the aid of the markers the whole way can be a big factor here for River.

Alexandra Park Race 3
11 Bolt For The Hill
Manners were left at home last week, but the run for second two starts back was excellent and the ability is never in doubt. Might be better with no horses behind at the start this week and if able to find the manners and do everything right, can win.

Alexandra Park Race 4
7 Sweet Maggie Mae
Driven cold last week and by the time the gaps came Sweet Maggie Mae just had too much to do to run down the winner. Big run all the same and showed she's still right on top of her good winter form. Wide draw again here, but with a little luck at the right time can swoop on them all.
Selections: 7-1-2-5-8
Alexandra Park Race 5
3 Hooray Henry
No doubting that Akuta is the best horse in this race, but fresh up from the outside draw over 1700m make him very beatable. Unlikely to be sent on any searching missions which opens the door for defeat. Not much between the David Butcher pairing but the scales might just tip in the favour of Hooray Henry with his gate speed and liking for bowling along. At a nice price too.
Selections: 3-7-5-4-2
Alexandra Park Race 6
1 Shesgold
A stalking type, Shesgold maps beautifully here tonight over the 2200m. Should be able to get away and land a trip on the speed which has shown in the past to be a lethal combination for rivals. Can sit just off it and then unleash up the lane late. The speed is there to hold them all out too.
Selections: 1-3-4-10-2
Alexandra Park Race 7
3 Tytate
TIP OF THE DAY
After taking a while to break maidens, Tytate stepped up and delivered two knockout blows in a row to boost the career record. Clearly on the rise and riding the crest of a wave. Finds a really winnable race again tonight and from the good draw should be able to be handy and get the job done.
