Really strong start to the career for Bettor Than Lizzy and was beaten by a potentially very good filly last week in Arden Seascape. Can press on through to Spring and do a really good job and finds a nice race to make something happen again here tonight.

Just had to do too much work last time out, but all the form prior from Delightful Dreams was excellent. Going to pick one up soon and while perhaps not as sharp as rival Trump Card, the good barrier off the front tape changes things up a little and with a sweet trip on the markers, looks a strong each way hope.

Looked a quick winner in the initial campaign for the career but time was only ever going to be a friend to Navy Hill. Looks to have returned in fine fettle judging by trial victory and seems really well placed here tonight to get that first win in a fresh state.

TIP OF THE DAY
Anyone who saw the ability Irish Dream possessed early on in the career wouldn't have been surprised with the ease in which victory came first up for the new stable last time out. Very talented pacer. Steps right up in grade here, but could go a long way and from the inside draw is the horse to beat here.

Racing super at the moment is Brett's Mate and in this kind of race he's always a good chance. Carter Dalgety's booking is always a big bonus for a juniors race and with the speed likely to be strong throughout look for him to be winding up late to get over the top of them all.

Loving the each way price on offer for Patriarch tonight off the back of an excellent second fresh up with no workouts or trials. Sure to be better for that and with a nice draw to use tonight should be rolling forward and looking to find a good spot. Natural improvement takes him close.

Given the race fitness on his side and the excellent stand start manners he possesses, the $17 first offered up for American Me was juicy. Many are just starting their campaigns tonight and seem unlikely to be sent on massive missions. He could be on the speed and ready to pounce with his fitness set to be telling.

3 Aldebaran Redwood
Rare mistake last time out from Aldebaran Redwood, but might just pay to put a line right through that and move on. Has plenty of ability and while still adjusting to the new grade is well placed here from the good draw. Can play a big role.
