One of the more frustrating pacers in Southland, Rise Up N Dance (#5) has the motor to be a very good country cup type horse but often lets himself down. That said, this is well below some of the fields he has taken on and even in a fresh state it would be no surprise to see him win.

Proved pretty costly for punters on the trip to Addington did Saucy Delight (#1) but there's perhaps one last chance to get a bit back here today. The one draw is interesting, it'll either work or it won't but if it does then expect a winning turn.

One of the most progressive young trotters in the land, Tarragindi (#11) brings some outstanding form back down south from Canterbury including a strong victory last time out. Bigger fish to fry this time in for sure, but he'll be here to win and the master in the bike can get him home.

As honest as the day is long is Ten Da Touch (#8), simply doesn't know how to run a bad race. Will have to do some work from the outside of the front line here, but capable of doing that and out-toughing his rivals in the run to the line.

TIP OF THE DAY
Promising three-year-old Always B Batman (#7) returns back to the home province after two very tidy efforts behind the sharp Bar Louie up in Canterbury. Given a bit of time after those runs and a good workout run to dust of the cobwebs. Ready to fire here.

Put a line through the last run from Bobbies Rock (#7) and take a good pointer for today out of the run two starts back. Likely to look to roll forward here today and if he was to find the front and perhaps take a sit behind the right one it wouldn't be a surprise to see him slingshot and win.
