Two excellent runs since arriving in the north, the most recent of them a third against race winners, will have Whatever It Takes (#6) lined up and ready to grab a victory here tonight. Manners seem excellent and with two runs under the belt should be near peak fitness levels.

More ability than most in here, but Sweet Maggie Mae (#8) can often throw in the odd head-scratching effort. She's the best horse in this race though and if driven confidently, should be able to find the markers and dominate this. Looks hard to hold out.

Couldn't have asked for much more from Hawkeye Pierce (#2) fresh up here last time out. Let down beautifully to get the win and might be really ready to take the next step from promising horse to serious one. Lovely draw to use tonight and at his best, he'll deliver.

A little more room at the right time last week and Bolt For The Hill (#6) could well have been coming into this race tonight as a last start winner. Nice to see him getting everything right though and hitting the line with purpose. He'll grab one quickly and tonight might be the night.

TIP OF THE DAY
Inside draw might not be the best for Johnny Lincoln (#1) in normal circumstances but given he's likely to follow the leader throughout it's a good one tonight. Very unlucky last week and appears to only need a little bit more fortune tonight to be a major player in this field.

We haven't seen Pretty In Pink (#1) since November last year under race conditions when she was running third to Habiti Pat in a feature race. Talented trotting filly who has a big campaign ahead of her and with two trials under the belt looks ready to rock and roll here tonight.
