Cambridge Synthetic Race 1
2 Hot Line Bling
Hot Line Bling (#2) attacked the line strongly last start when winning in R60 company. While he goes up in weight for this MAAT contest, he now gets the services of Joe Doyle from the inside gate. Maps to get a quiet run and will be surging home late if the gaps go his way.
Cambridge Synthetic Race 2
5 Lerado
Lerado (#5) was unsuited by the Heavy track last start and looks much better placed returning to an even track on the synthetic surface, the scene of his maiden win. The wide draw will see him settle back off a genuine tempo, and the booking of Craig Grylls is a positive. Looks a good price in an open race.
Cambridge Synthetic Race 3
1 Hakushu
Hakushu (#1) was dominant when clearing maidens at this course and distance last start. Michael McNab sticks from a low draw, which should see him given every chance to repeat the dose. A progressive 3yo who looks hard to beat.
Cambridge Synthetic Race 4
4 Alfriston
Alfriston (#4) showed merit first-up when finishing 4th after getting back and sustaining a long wide run. Expecting a more positive ride this time with Jasmine Fawcett on from a low draw, and in a race lacking speed, he appeals as a good each way chance at odds.
Cambridge Synthetic Race 5
10 Miss Moet All
Miss Moet All (#10) is a speedy 2yo filly who returns to the course and distance of her maiden win. She'll carry just 52kg and should give a good sight from on speed. Hard to beat.
Cambridge Synthetic Race 6
7 Mulan Ardeche
TIP OF THE DAY
Mulan Ardeche (#7) was excellent late at Ruakaka last start in a strong 3yo race over a mile. Stepping up to 2000m third-up looks ideal, and from a low draw with Michael McNab aboard, she looks clearly the horse to beat.
Cambridge Synthetic Race 7
1 Unequivocal
Unequivocal (#1) shapes clearly as the horse to beat in the final race of the day. She found the line well to finish 3rd over this course and distance last start, and with McNab aboard again, she'll be hard to hold out with clear air in the straight.
