Alexandra Park Race 1
3 Beachbreak

It took a determined effort from the talented Hawkeye Pierce to rundown Beachbreak (#3) last week here. Racing in fine order of late in some good fields and with another handy draw should be on the speed throughout and a tough prospect to get past.
Selections: 3-1-2-7-4

Alexandra Park Race 2
5 Westar Milly

Adjusting to life beautifully in the North Island, Westar Milly (#5) is now also getting her head around the Alexandra Park style of racing too. Doing a good job of it too and wouldn't have to improve too much with that experience to be a major player in what looks a wide-open trotting affair.
Selections: 5-7-9-10-8

Alexandra Park Race 3
3 Turn O The Tide

Similar sort of line up to the last two starts for Turn O The Tide (#3) here tonight, despite coming into it as a last start winner. Lands a positive draw to work from and with the confidence levels high at the moment should be on the speed and looking to make this race his own.
Selections: 3-4-2-9-5

Alexandra Park Race 4
6 Pantani

The frustrating but always talented Pantani (#6) resumes from a spell here tonight for David Butcher and will be looking to kick things off in the right fashion. Has a strong fresh up record and if able to find his rhythm early on then he'll take a bit of catching tonight.
Selections: 6-5-7-4-1

Alexandra Park Race 5
7 Hooray Henry

TIP OF THE DAY
Hard to find fault in anything Hooray Henry (#7) has done of late. Just keeps stepping out and running bold races. A bit unlucky last time out, but hit the line with real purpose and a little more luck this week, perhaps self made luck, should see him fighting out the finish.
Selections: 7-3-4-1-2

Alexandra Park Race 6
3 Regal Girl

The money came in a big way for Regal Girl (#3) last time but it came unstuck but would expect punters to look to go again with the consistent trotting mare. Off the front tape is a nice help as should be able onto the speed and be in the right position.
Selections: 3-9-7-6-1

Alexandra Park Race 7
6 Captain Moonlight

A return to the trials for Captain Moonlight (#6) after proving very costly here first up from a spell and into the new barn. The talent is there, there's no doubt about it – but unleashing it is proving a little more difficult. Best version wins this without too much issue, but short enough.
Selections: 6-4-5-2-1

Alexandra Park Race 8
7 J T Boe

Stonewall Stud will be out to close off what looks to be a good night with J T Boe (#7) in the final race. Brilliant win two starts back and then didn't find all favours in his next effort for fourth. Small field may well play into his hands here and if he's charging at the top of the straight, they'll do well to hold him out.
Selections: 7-5-6-2-3
