Winton Harness Picks - Wednesday, 16 July

Winton Harness Race 1
5 Sebastian Stark

Manners to this point have been the huge issues for Sebastian Stark (#5) but anyone who was tuned into the last start would have spotted the telling strides late in the piece behind a pretty good field. Just needs to do it right, all the way, here and can deliver.
Selections: 5-6-3-1-4

Winton Harness Race 2
2 Kacee Mac

Promising type Kacee Mac (#2) kicks off the career here today with a good body of work in the lead up to the debut. Actually won a trial beating race favourite Donny Do and gains an advantage with a draw inside that runner. Looking for a big run here.
Selections: 2-3-5-6-10

Winton Harness Race 3
8 Jaccka Henry

Back to the workouts for Jaccka Henry (#8) after a couple of luckless runs in the two starts prior to a wee freshen up. Has ability, just needs the little bird on the soldier to make things happen during the running. With a chance, can win.
Selections: 8-5-4-6-2

Winton Harness Race 4
4 The Greek Freak

Ticking all the boxes at the moment with good manners and good performances is The Greek Freak (#4) and he'd deserve a Winter Reward for a few months of honest toil. Small field is a nice plus and if he was to get close enough to the speed, he'd be a major player here.
Selections: 4-6-7-5-1

Winton Harness Race 5
8 Ten Da Touch

Brilliantly consistent through the winter months so far and an excellent winner last start, Ten Da Touch (#8) deserves to take out this final. Wide draw doesn't help, but going better than most in this line up and with a little luck in running can deliver.
Selections: 8-11-3-7-12

Winton Harness Race 6
2 Always B Royal

Nice work of late from Always B Royal (#2) and appears to be closing in quickly on another winning turn. Gets a key advantage here with a positive draw over many of the key rivals and would expect Nathan Williamson to make the most of that with a confident drive early.
Selections: 2-11-10-6-8

Winton Harness Race 7
8 Tabasco

TIP OF THE DAY
He's only going to be better for the fresh up run last time out and given some of the horses he has raced in his career, Tabasco (#8) should find this race right up his alley. Wide draw yes, but he's capable of making his own luck and looping into it at the right time he'll be hard to stop.
Selections: 8-6-7-5-4

Winton Harness Race 8
5 Aint No Angel

Not too dissimilar to the stablemate in the previous race, Aint No Angel (#5) has done some nice things in the career to this point and while wins haven't happened regularly, rarely goes a bad race. Drawn up beautifully here to find the front and run and if able to get there, will take some catching.
Selections: 5-8-7-12-11

Winton Harness Race 9
2 Emily

Another week of racing in the deep south and another opportunity for Emily (#2) to get a well deserved win. Does nothing wrong, just gets out and trots and puts herself in the right places. Well suited to the small field here and with a canny Blair Orange drive, can deliver.
Selections: 2-5-6-1-3

Winton Harness Race 10
6 Tua Lipa

Has the ability to win a race like this and Tua Lipa (#6) actually slides down in grade nicely for this week's assignment too. High speed horse, especially when able to find a rhythm and work into it late. Look for that kind of run to unfold and a winning turn can unfold too.
Selections: 6-10-8-2-1
