Alexandra Park Race 1
4 J T Boe
Not sure the third up win from J T Boe was just a fluke, he's a pretty nice horse in the making and could really push on and do a good job this campaign. Yes, a step up this time around but with race fitness on his side and the form of Stonewall Stud of late, it's really hard to ignore him at a generous win price.

6 American Me
Tip of The Day
Punters who smashed American Me into a red-hot favourite spot second up at The Park a fortnight ago might have been a little off-put by his run for third. Don't be though. Back to the stand tonight and over the 2700m, he's set to be driven like the great stayer he is and if he finds the front, it's hard to have him beaten.

Alexandra Park Race 3
7 Always B Magic
It took a lot longer than anyone probably initially thought it would but Always B Magic's maiden win back at the start of June finally broke the duck. She's always looked a filly capable of higher honours and might not be ready to live up to that notion. Steps up here, yes – but her class will carry her a long way.

Alexandra Park Race 4
11 Mesadele
A beast-mode victory by Melsadele last week might just be the beginning of a lucrative winter for the talented trotting mare. She's still on the way up too, evidenced by the fact she looked to come to the end of it 100m out last week but was clear enough that the job was done. Improved version again this week means big trouble for her rivals.

Alexandra Park Race 5
8 Treacherous Baby
It's a risky business playing the punting game with a mare like Treacherous Baby. She can be so good one week, but then leave you scratching the head the next week. Her chances are very much dependent on the race tempo in front of her. There might not be a quicker mare over 200m in the country but she needs the right race. Hopefully that happens tonight.
Selections: 8-7-6-1-4
Alexandra Park Race 6
4 Iron Love
There's been a few costs involved with playing around Iron Love in the four starts back from a spell but the fresh up win was so good and the moment he can recapture that kind of form, he'll be winning again. There's been signs it might be coming and there won't be many better opportunities than tonight to make it happen either.
Selections: 4-5-6-3-1
Alexandra Park Race 7
3 Roy Kent
He doesn't win races out of turn, Roy Kent, but he does enough each and every week to keep the hook baited and often in very good fields. Gains a bit of relief from the normal tonight into a very winnable race and an aggressive Tony Herlihy drive early to plomp him on the speed might be all it takes to see him back in the winners' circle.
Selections: 3-2-4-5-7
Alexandra Park Race 8
6 Whatever It Takes
The scratching of Johnny Trotter certainly has changed the complexity of this race. Whatever It Takes steps out for the first time since January of 2024 and does so now under the tutelage of Jeremy Young. Two public runs should have the gelding forward enough to play a big role here with good manners.
